Abstract: The inventive Russian bath is embodied in the form of a room provided with a floor, walls and a ceiling and comprising one or several seat-benches incorporated therein, a steam generator, a shower room and an electrical heating system which is provided with flat electric heating panels, temperature gages and an automatic temperature control system. The surfaces of the ceiling, walls and the bench are embodied such that they are heated within a range between 20 DEG C and 60 DEG C by means of said flat electric heating panels which are tile-hung with ceramic tiles or with natural stone. In order to comply to electric safety standards and to environment standards with respect to protection against power frequency electromagnetic fields, each electric heating panel is provided with a steel screen which is grounded when the panel is connected to a power supply. The temperature control of the surfaces of the ceiling, walls and the bench is carried out by means of the temperature gages of the multi-channel automatic control system which regulates and automatically maintains the specified temperature of the electric heating panels within a range between 20 DEG C and 60 DEG C. Said invention relates to equipment for satisfying the necessity of a human being. The bathing process is started by heating an organism in such a way that an intensive sweating is reached in dry conditions of a Russian stove. A user may wish to continue bathing in the conditions of a Russian steam bath using a traditional flag broom. In order to reproduce the conditions of the Russian steam bath, an electric steam generator which produces normal and aromatised steam is used. The heating of a human body is carried out in the heat field of IR radiation formed by surrounding heat-radiating surfaces whose temperature is slightly higher then the temperature of a human body. IR radiation being performed within a wavelength range of 8 to 11.5 mkm when the depth of penetration and the volume absorption of IR radiation by the human body are maximum, the deep heat penetration is carried at the low and comfortable temperature of ambient air. Consequently, the inventive bath can be recommended not only for healthy persons, but also for wide number of users having various health problems and for whom a sauna or a Russian bath is contraindicated. The additional devices (the steam generator and the shower) make it possible to use the Russian bath mode and carry out contrast hydrotherapeutic procedures. The engineering solutions used for the inventive bath make it possible to carry out different modes of the use thereof and ensure the high effectiveness of the IR radiation effect on the human body within the wavelength range which is optimum for a human being. Said invention also makes it possible to improve the comfort level of the bathing procedure by creating optimal temperature and ecological conditions for heating the human organism and for carrying out hydrotherapeutic procedures.
