Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for controlling an elevator system (10) having a double or multiple elevator cabin per elevator shaft (S0, S01''); wherein at least one destination call (T1) is entered or at least one identification code (T1') is received on at least one call entry floor; said destination call (T1) or identification code (T1') designating an arrival floor; wherein at least one trip by at least one elevator cabin (1, 1', 1'') of the double or multiple elevator cabin from a departure floor to an arrival floor is determined for the destination call (T1) or identification code (T1'); wherein before determining a trip, it is determined whether at least one situation-specific parameter (T2) is fulfilled; and if said situation-specific parameter (T2) is fulfilled, at least one situation-compatible call assignment (T6) is determined for a trip having a floor difference of zero between the call entry floor and the departure floor or having a floor difference of zero between the destination floor and the arrival floor.
Abstract:
Provided is an elevator group control system which is excellent in convenience and can prevent a decrease in operation efficiency even when an elevator is used by a group of a plurality of persons. For this purpose, there are installed in an elevator hall a destination operating panel by use of which users register their destination floors before boarding and a group boarding registering device for registering that users use an elevator as a group. The number of users expected when users use an elevator as a group is stored beforehand in a user head-count storage section. When registration of a destination floor by use of the destination operating panel has been performed at the same time with registration of a group use by use of the group boarding registering device, a car to be assigned to a hall car call is determined on the basis of the number of users stored in the user head-count storage section.
Abstract:
Elevators (104) in a group elevator system (100) are controlled to facilitate transport of a large item (LI). A destination entry input device receives an input from a passenger (102) indicating that the passenger (102) has a large item (LI) to be transported in the group elevator system (100). The passenger (102) with the large item (LI) is assigned to an elevator (104) having capacity to accommodate the passenger (102) and the large item (LI).
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for the arbitration of calls of an elevator installation with at least one elevator and at least one car (1, 1') per elevator. At least one call for a destination storey is input by at least one passenger. A plurality of passengers is transported in at least one journey from at least one input storey to at least one destination storey in accordance with the input calls by the car (1, 1'). At least one start zone (9, 9') with one or more input storeys is determined for the input calls of the journey. At least one destination zone (10, 10') with one or more destination storeys is determined for the input calls of the journey. If at least one number of stops in the start zone (9, 9') and/or in the destination zone (10, 10') is greater than one, this number of stops is reduced.
Abstract:
The invention provides an elevator cab equipped with an emergency medical device, such as an automated external defibrillator (AED). The elevator cab equipped with the emergency medical device may be controlled in order to deliver the emergency medical device to a floor of a building on which an emergency medical situation occurred. In response to emergency medical input identifying the emergency medical situation, an elevator control unit overrides regular operation of the elevator cab in response to receiving emergency medical input, and directs the elevator cab to a floor on which an emergency medical situation occurs. For example, the elevator control unit may cancel active floor calls made by passengers within the elevator cab or individuals on one or more floors of the building and direct the elevator cab to the floor of the emergency situation.
