    Abstract: A friction supporting stay comprising a channel section track 10 and a slider 15 linked to a strut 24. At the upper end of track 10 is a cap 14 with internal surfaces 36, 37 engageable by one end of strut 24. A plastics nose member 35 is riveted to the end of strut 24 and is formed with surfaces 39, 40 shaped to engage the corresponding surfaces 36, 37.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint structure and a wind regulator having high separation strength.SOLUTION: A lift arm 5 is formed with a tapered through-hole 35 formed with a first inner wall part 33 work-hardened by plastic deformation, and a buildup part 45 having an inner wall surface 41 formed in succession with an inner wall surface 31 of the tapered through-hole 35, and formed with a second inner wall part 43 work-hardened by plastic deformation. A driven gear 3 is formed with a protrusion 51 fitted down to the buildup part 45 through the tapered through-hole 35, formed with an outer wall part 53 work-hardened by plastic deformation, and having an outer wall surface 55 which is in close contact with at least a part of the inner wall surface 31 of the tapered through-hole 35 and the inner wall surface 41 of the buildup part 45.
