PURPOSE: An intake manifold is provided to improve an air tightness, prevent a thermal distortion, and ensure a bond strength of reinforcement member. CONSTITUTION: An intake manifold comprises a plurality of branch pipes(3) of which one end is furnace brazed to a flange(6) of engine side and of which other end is furnace brazed to a surge tank of throttle chamber side, wherein the surge tank is composed of two sections including a brazing side member(1) to which the branch pipes(3) are calked to determine a position and furnace brazed, and an unheating side member(2) which is not furnace brazed and coupled to the brazing side member(1) by means of a bolt(4), the unheating side member being attached with a reinforcement member like a stay.

PURPOSE: A synthetic resin air absorbing manifold having high productivity and a complex shape outlet capable of being flexibly designed and it manufacturing method are provided. CONSTITUTION: An air intake manifold(M) includes a surge tank operated as an air intake capacity unit communicated with an intaken air supply source through plural outlet and inlet pipes and is obtained through the injection resin mold of the surge tank and each outlet, assembly and integration as a connecting process. Herein, the inlet pipe is connected with an air absorbing system such as an air conditioner for flowing in the air from a vehicle passing an equipment on the upper side to the surge tank. Each outlet pipe is connected with each corresponding cylinder of an engine through a port flange for reacting as a mounting member on one end and is connected to the surge tank on the other end. Herein, the port flange is formed as an opening unit corresponding to the cylinder of the engine, and a lower side end part of each outlet pipe is mounted on the rear face of the port flange.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Ladeluftrohres aus Kunststoff. Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von Ladeluftrohren zu schaffen, mittels dessen Ladeluftrohre aus endlosfaserverstärkten Kunststoffen mit gleichmäßiger Wandstärke und hochpräziser Innenkontur herstellbar sind. Diese Aufgabe wird dadurch gelöst, dass durch das Verfahren zwei Halbschalen (2, 2) erzeugt werden und die Halbschalen (2, 2) nach der Erzeugung miteinander fluiddicht zu einem Ladeluftrohr zusammengefügt werden.

A frictional weld joint couples first and second body portions of an article together. The frictional weld joint comprises a first bead extending from the first body portion of the article and a second bead extending from the second body portion of the article. The second bead has an interior stem and an exterior stem space from the interior stem defining a cavity therebetween. The first and second beads are placed in contact with each other with the centerline of the second bead offset from the centerline of the first bead. A force is applied to either the first or second body portions to generate friction between the first and second beads to plastically displace the first and second beads. The force is removed for fusing the first and second beads together to couple together the first and the second body portions of the article.

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Herstellen eines Bauteils (18), das ein Gehäuse (19) und wenigstens einen darin angeordneten Funktionseinsatz (22) aufweist, - bei dem wenigstens zwei Gehäuseteile (20, 21) aus Kunststoff spritzgeformt werden, - bei dem wenigstens ein Funktionseinsatz (22) in wenigstens eines der Gehäuseteile (20, 21 ) eingelegt wird, - bei dem die Gehäuseteile (20, 21) bei darin eingelegtem, wenigstens einem Funktionseinsatz (22) miteinander zum Gehäuse (19) verschweißt werden.

Air intake manifold for an internal combustion engine comprising a manifold body (1) enclosing a plenum (3) comprising an intake orifice and from which open out through a respective distribution orifice (4) a series of lateral intake conduits (5) and where the manifold body integrates a device for re-injecting blowby gases and canister gases into the plenum (3), characterized in that the manifold body (1) comprises a cover (2) extending the length of the plenum (3), next to the intake conduits (5), so as to define a part of the periphery thereof in this area, and pierced by a series of holes corresponding to the respective distribution orifices (4), where this cover (2) comprises at least one coupling stub (6) equipped with branch fittings for reinjection (7, 8) respectively branched onto the circuit for recirculating blowby gases and canister gases and thereby constituting the device for reinjection of these gases into the plenum (3).
