Abstract:
PURPOSE: A CMOS(Completely Metal-Oxide Semiconductor) sensor array with a memory interface is provided to secure an image sensor supplying a convenient and efficient pixel data interface. CONSTITUTION: An image sensor(100) includes a sensor array or a pixel array(102), a data memory, and a logic circuit, all fabricated on the same integrated chip. The sensor or pixel array outputs digital signals as pixel data representing an image of a scene. The data memory is coupled to the sensor or pixel array for storing the pixel data. The logic circuit is coupled to the data memory and provides a memory interface(22b) for exporting the pixel data. The memory interface is one of a SRAM(Static Random Access Memory), a DRAM(Dynamic Random Access Memory) or a packet protocol synchronous DRAM interface. A memory interface in the image sensor allows the image sensor to be coupled directly to the memory interface port of an external image-processing unit(20). The image-processing unit accesses the image sensor using conventional memory access protocols, thus improving the efficiency and reducing the operational complexity of the image-processing unit.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A multiple sampling image sensor device of wide dynamic ranges via a time-indexed method is provided to obtain wide dynamic ranges by performing multiple sampling operation of an image with a time-indexed method. CONSTITUTION: A digital pixel sensor(300) increase the dynamic range of the sensor by taking multiple samples of an image. Each of pixel elements outputting a digital signal comprises a photodetector integrated with an ADC(Analog to Digital Converter). An array of threshold memory cells(304), each corresponding to one of the pixel elements, is also provided. An array of time cells(308), each corresponding to one of the pixel elements, establishes a different sampling time for each pixel elements for each multiple sample. An array of data memory elements(310), each coupled to one of the pixel elements, is also provided. The data memory elements are fabricated in an IC(Integrated Circuit, 302) to receive a value from a corresponding one of the pixel elements when the content in a corresponding one of the threshold memory cells permits. As a result, multiple samples may be collected for an image to thereby extend the dynamic range of a photodetector.

PURPOSE: A copy attachment for digital printing press is provided to rapidly make a high quality copy of original documents using a digital press. CONSTITUTION: A digital press is composed of a printing engine(12), a press controller(14), a print buffer(18), and a user interface(16). The print buffer(18) receives an image data from DFE(Digital Front End) in raster format. The DFE is external to digital press or integrated therewith. The printing engine(12) receives an image data from the print buffer(18). A press controller(14) controls an operation of the printing engine(12) and data flow between the printing engine(12) and the print buffer(18) and communicates the user interface(16) and also other elements of system. The user interface(16) includes a display and a keyboard and enables communication between top control of its operation and the digital press. A scanner(22) is modified so that its operation is entirely automatic-controlled by copying controller(28). An image processor(24) is a rapid digital processor. A copying controller(28) controls an operation of other element of copy attachment(20).

PURPOSE: A digital still camera capable of remote communication is provided to receive image and voice signals and to enable conversation while watching a screen by incorporating a cellular phone in a rigid housing. CONSTITUTION: The digital still camera capable of remote communication includes a camera(10), a memory(29), a number assigner, a reducer(42), a modulator(27), a transmitter(11) and a controller(43). The camera converts an optical image to a digital electrical signal. The memory stores at least one phone numbers. The number assigner assigns the number of a remote device to be contacted. The reducer decreases the number of the pixels of the digital electrical signal. The modulator modulates the digital electrical signal and the assigned phone number to an electro-magnetic signal corresponding to the telephone system. The transmitter transmits the electro-magnetic signal to the remote device. The controller enables the digital electrical signal from the camera to the remote device without driving the reducer when the phone number of the assigned remote device is same to the number stored in the memory.

본출원은휴대단말기를이용하여효율적으로이미지데이터를송수신하는방법및 장치를제공하기위한것이다. 본출원의일실시예에의한휴대단말기에서의데이터전송방법은, 데이터전송입력모드를선택가능하도록하는단계와, 데이터전송입력모드가이미지(image)이면, 허용되는텍스트(text) 전송크기로이미지데이터를압축하여전송하는단계를포함하여이루어진다. 또한, 본출원의실시예들은시간정보를포함할수 있으며, 상기시간정보는각 이미지가생성되는상대적인시간을제공하여준다. 또한, 본출원의실시예들은, 다양한전송모드또는수신모드를식별하기위한식별정보를포함할수 있으며, 상기식별정보를통해시스템의오동작을방지할수 있게된다.

다큐먼트 박스를 웹 페이지로 제공하는 방법 및 이를 수행하는 화상형성장치에 따르면, 다큐먼트 박스를 생성하고, 생성된 다큐먼트 박스에 적어도 하나의 다큐먼트를 저장하고, 다큐먼트 박스에 대응하는 웹 페이지를 생성하고, 다큐먼트 박스에 저장된 다큐먼트를 상기 웹 페이지로 표현하기 위한 이미지 형식을 가지는 이미지데이터로 변환하고, 생성된 웹 페이지 및 변환된 이미지데이터를 클라이언트의 요청에 대응하여 제공한다.

The present invention relates to an online automation system of bank documents. The online automation system comprises a scan unit scanning a paper document generated in a bank or a bank training center to produce a file in the form of an image file or an online document file, automatically extracting a template area previously stored in a bank server for automatically classifying the file produced in the form of an image file or an online document file; an image converting unit converting an image to realize compatibility of an electronic document generated by a terminal of a bank or a bank training center, capturing a screen output result of the terminal, and producing an image file or an online document file; a meta data managing unit storing meta data of the image file or the online document file produced by the scan unit or the image converting unit and backing up the meta data to the bank server; and an output unit selectively outputting the image file or the online document file produced by the scan unit or the image converting unit to a display of the terminal.

PURPOSE: A method for storing a document using an image forming device and a system therefor are provided to enable a user to use data that the user can use by a universal computer system at the outside when the user searches a document, thereby enabling the user to conveniently search the data. CONSTITUTION: A conversion unit(110) shows a work target document, shows first data, and converts the first data into second data. The first data have a format by which an image forming device performs a function. The second data have a format that a universal computer system uses. A synchronization information generating unit(115) generates synchronization information which maps the work target document on the second data. A first storage unit(120) stores the first data and the synchronization information. A control unit(130) stores the second data in the image forming device and transmits the second data to an external device connected to the image forming device.

본 발명은 휴대단말기의 다중매체메시지서비스(Multimedia Message Service: MMS) 메시지 전송을 위해 다수의 사진으로 구성된 사진 슬라이드를 동영상으로 변환하여 한번에 전송할 수 있도록 한 휴대단말기에서의 사진슬라이드의 동영상 변환방법에 관한 것으로, 이와 같은 본 발명은 다수의 사진을 선택하여 사진 슬라이드로 저장하는 단계와; 상기 사진 슬라이드에 대해 멀티미디어 메시지 서비스(Multimedia Message Service: MMS) 전송 설정을 하는 단계와; 상기 사진 슬라이드를 구성하는 사진의 개수에 따라 MMS의 최대 전송가능용량을 고려한 화질과 해상도의 최적 조합을 자동 설정하는 단계와; 상기 최적 조합에 따라 사진 슬라이드를 동영상으로 자동 변환하는 단계를 포함하여 구성된다.
