PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new use of marine deep water, and to provide a method for simply and efficiently producing useful substances. SOLUTION: This method for producing the useful substance comprises a production process for producing the useful substances from a microbial population in the marine deep water, while irradiating the collected marine deep water with light, and a recovery process for recovering the useful substance from the marine deep water after the production process. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel useful search device which has a simple structure, prevents increase in production cost, eases post-treatment, shows a proper collection efficiency of a chemical substance and facilitates searching of an occurring region. SOLUTION: The base part 23 of a support element 21 and the body 5 of a closure cover 3 are constituted of a magnetic material, and a fixing element is constituted of a magnet 29 for producing magnetic attracting action between the closure cover 3 and the magnetic material of the support element 21. When the magnet 29 and the base part 23 of the support element 21 are respectively brought into contact with each other, at the opposed position of the outer and inner surfaces of the body 5 of the closure cover 3, the support element 21 is fixed to the closure cover 3 by a magnetic attractve force, and a diffusion sampler 15 is supported so that its axis becomes substantially parallel to the opening part 9 of the closure cover 3. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sandwich type immunoassay using recombination protein having a bonding property to an antigen, especially an immuno-chromatography method, and recombination protein suitable for use for this. SOLUTION: In the sandwich type immunoassay using a first bonding material and a second bonding material to antigen to be measured, at least one of the first bonding material and second bonding material is made of recombination protein having a heavy chain variant-part and light chain variant-part of the antibody to the antigen. SOLUTION: The sialyl-poly-N-acetyllactosamine-containing artificial polypeptide is obtained by modifying the sialosugar chain part of a sialyl-N-acetyllactosamine-containing artificial polypeptide. The sialyl-N-acetyllactosamine-containing artificial sugar chain polypeptide is obtained by changing an α polyglutamic acid having a backbone of a sialyl-N-acetyllactosamine-containing artificial polypeptide into a γ-polyglutamic acid being a natural substance and inexpensive and changing a linker part. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for judging malignant metastatic stomach cancer, a method for evaluating the risk of peritoneal metastasis and recurrence of the stomach cancer, a method for judging the effectiveness of an anticancer agent and a kit for them by elucidating the mechanism of the disseminating peritoneal metastasis of the stomach cancer and by identifying a protein becoming a target of a new treating agent or a tumor marker having a high specificity. SOLUTION: This method for judging malignant metastatic cancer is provided by comparing the two dimensional electrophoretic images of cell lysate of stomach cancer cell line MKN45 and its peritoneal disseminated metastatic cell line clone MKN45P by using a two-dimensional difference gel electrophoresis (2D-DIGE) method, and then picking up spots having the significantly different amounts of expressed proteins between the both cell lines by a statistical method, performing a mass spectrum analysis [MALDI-TOF (Matrix Assisted Laser Desorption Time of flight) MS: proteomics analyzer 4700] on protein at each of the spots and performing the search of data base. As a result, several kinds of proteins increase or decrease in the peritoneal disseminated metastatic cell line as compared with those of the stomach cancer cell line can be identified. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for stably producing a porous film of a titanium oxide photocatalyst, which has a large effective surface area and high photocatalytic activity. SOLUTION: The method for producing the porous film of the titanium oxide photocatalyst comprises; a first spraying step of spraying a first dispersion containing titanium alkoxide and inorganic particles toward the surface of a base material heated to the temperature higher than room temperature; a second spraying step of spraying a second dispersion containing the inorganic particles toward the surface of the base material heated to ≥120°C; and a step of further heating the resulting base material without a break. Each of dispersions is sprayed while moving a spray nozzle to the horizontal direction of the base material surface, so that a uniform porous structure is formed over a wide range of the base material surface. The customization support apparatus for editing the conversation information symbol, including a picture symbol and a voice for performing conversation training by the visual and auditory senses, is provided with a means for analyzing the operational records that include determination and response time, when selecting the conversation information symbol of the user transferred from the communication support apparatus. SOLUTION: The method for concentrating and eluting legionella bacteria from a liquid 3 for treating the bacteria containing the same comprises the first step of contacting the liquid 3 with a carrier 1 where an area at least near the surface is composed mainly of a calcium phosphate-based compound to deposit the legionella bacteria on the carrier 1 and the second step of contacting a buffer solution 4 containing a buffering agent in a concentration of 25-500 mM with the resultant carrier 1 to isolate the legionella bacteria into the buffer solution 4 to concentrate and elute the bacteria(retrieve the bacteria into the buffer solution 4). SOLUTION: The industrial antibacterial or bactericidal agent has 2-amino-3-cyclopropylbutanoic acid as an active ingredient. This active ingredient compound can be extracted and isolated from Amanita cokeri of one kind of mushroom. The compound can be also extracted and isolated from Amanita castanopsidis Hongo of one kind of mushroom, and also can be produced by a chemical synthesis method.
