Abstract: PURPOSE: A system for measuring the performance of a spatial light modulator is provided to measure at least one of the intensity variation and the phase variation of the modulator. CONSTITUTION: A system (100) for measuring the performance of a spatial light modulator includes an optical source part (110), multiple optical splitters (122,124,126,128), the spatial light modulator, multiple optical detectors (142,144), an optical control unit (160), a photographing unit (180), and an analyzing unit (190). The optical source part includes an optical source (112) emitting light, and an optical diffuser (114) diffusing the light from the optical source. The optical splitter splits the light. The spatial light modulator modulates and outputs the light according to hologram information. The optical detector detects the intensity of the light, and the optical control unit controls the phase and the intensity of the light. The photographing unit photographs the interfered light, and the analyzing unit analyzes the performance of the spatial light modulator.
