Abstract: Provided is a content transmission system which can provide random contents and easily prevent traffic overloading. The content transmission system according to an embodiment includes: a content data server which provides random contents to a plurality of terminal upon receiving a request signal for the random contents from the terminal; a data monitoring server which monitors whether a traffic overloading occurred in the content data server while the random contents are provided and generates a traffic distribution request signal when the traffic overloading has occurred according to the monitoring result; and a node monitoring server which provides the random contents to random distribution nodes satisfying a set condition most among a plurality of distribution nodes upon receiving the traffic distribution request signal from the data monitoring server.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a hot count based content caching method. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the hot count based content caching method, which is a hot count based content cache placement strategies, comprises the following steps. A routing node checks for the first time attributes of a received content chunk and determines whether the content chunk should be cached. The routing node determines for the second time whether the content chunk should be cached by using a caching probability of 1/hop count based on hop count information on the content chunk. The content chunk and the hop count information are stored at a cache memory of the routing node when the routing node determines that the content chunk should be cached in the second determination step. Therefore, the hot count based content cache placement strategies are capable of efficiently reducing network traffics.
