Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to a coexistence of a first radio access technology (RAT), such as a fifth generation (5G) new radio (NR) technology with a second RAT, such as a narrow-band internet-of-things (NB-IOT) technology. In a first aspect, a 5G NR resource block size and an NB-IOT resource block size are defined, and a compatible alignment of an NB-IOT resource block and a 5G NR resource block is identified. An offset associated with the compatible alignment is then determined in which the offset is within a threshold offset and facilitates an identification of a valid NB-IOT resource block. In a second aspect, an offset associated with a compatible alignment of a 5G NR resource block and an NB-IOT resource block is ascertained, and a channel raster is shifted according to the offset associated with the compatible alignment.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide various wireless communication numerology designs that can maintain symbol boundary alignment while multiplexing different numerologies in wireless communication. The symbols may be scaled for different tone or subcarrier spacings while maintaining the symbol boundary alignment between different numerologies. Maintaining the symbol-boundary alignment between different numerologies enables symbol-level numerology multiplexing. The disclosed numerology designs enable low latency communication and improved interference management, and provide non-ambiguous symbol boundary timing reference for multiplexing different numerologies.

Abstract: Methods systems computer readable media and apparatuses for inferring context are provided. In one potential implementation first context information associated with a first duration is identified second context information is accessed to determine a context segmentation boundary; and the first context information and the second context information is then aggregated to generate an inferred segmented aggregated context. In a further implementation the first context information is used to average inferred contexts and the context segmentation boundary is used to reset a start time for averaging the first context information.
