Abstract: Various aspects described herein relate to dynamic uplink antenna port management. A user equipment (UE) may receive reference signal configuration information from a base station. The UE may configure one or more uplink antenna ports based on the received reference signal configuration information and transmit one or more reference signals to the base station on the one or more uplink antenna port. The UE may receive uplink configuration information for one or more data channels and/or one or more control channels. The UE may configure one or more uplinks antenna ports based on the uplink configuration information and may transmit one or more uplink signals on the one or more data channels and/or one or more control channels.
