Abstract:
A web material for transport and conveyor belts is essentially composed of a nonwoven, a binder and a spunbonded web that serves as a reinforcement.
Abstract:
A conveyor belt (1) consists of a textile-reinforced plastic web (8) with a textile reinforcing layer (9) of interwoven warp (13) and weft threads (14) which extends in the longitudinal direction. To obtain a conveyor belt (1) of simple structure and good overall strength, the reinforcing layer (9) consists of a high-strength support in the form of a double-pile fabric comprising an upper (10) and a lower fabric (11) which are held together by low pile threads (12) attached to the weft threads (14) so as to form a unit of upper (10) and lower fabrics (11) of high tensile strength. When the conveyor belt (1) is subjected to flexural stresses, the pile threads (12) allow the upper (10) and lower fabrics (11) to move slightly relative to each other in the warp direction and to return to their original positions.
Abstract:
A conveyor comprising a pulley (5, 6) supported belt (1), which forms a tubular section when conveying materials. Material (4) is fed into the belt (1) by means (7) discharging below the level (CL) at which the belt is formed into a tube, but above the point at which the line of the angle of repose of the material (4) being conveyed would be tangent to the inner face of the belt (1), ensuring that the tubular section is completely filled. The material (4) is conveyed to a discharge pipe (8) where the belt looses its tubular shape, causing the material to be discharged. Means (9) may be provided to support the belt on vertical or inclined sections, and to ensure the tubular section is properly sealed.
Abstract:
Abstract:
The invention relates to a conveyor belt with a polymer surface coating containing an antimicrobial additive. The conveyor belt is characterized in that it comprises a traction layer (3) in the form of a material that is provided with a polymer surface coating. Said surface coating comprises a base layer (2) and a functional surface layer (1). The functional surface layer (1) contains an antimicrobial additive and is substantially thinner than the base layer (2). The division of the surface coating into a base layer (2) and a functional surface layer (1) allows to achieve in the area of the conveying zone, with a lower amount of antimicrobial additive and thus in a less expensive way, a just as high a concentration, or with the same amount of additive a substantially higher concentration and thus a higher effectiveness against microorganisms.
Abstract:
A modular conveyor belt assembly (10, 100, 10') having a plurality of modular links (12, 14, 16, 120, 140, 160, 12', 14', 16'), each of the modular links including a pair of first projecting legs (24, 240, 24') and a pair of second projecting legs (26, 260, 26'), the first projecting legs each having an inwardly projecting engagement element (28, 280, 28') and the second projecting legs each having an engagement slot (32, 320, 32').
Abstract:
A number of bead constituting bodies (2b) are removably attached to the portion of a curve conveyor associated with the outer peripheral edge of the belt main body (2a) installed taut between end rollers (15, 15) disposed at a predetermined angle. Alternatively, a number of bead constituting bodies (7b) are removably attached to the opposite edges of the belt main body (7a) of a linear conveyor installed taut between parallelly disposed end rollers. A beaded conveyor belt in which damaged beads alone can be easily exchanged is provided.
Abstract:
A connection line for a belt portion held between a driving roller (41) and a pinch roller (42a) and for a region extending from the vicinity of the belt portion to the outer peripheral edge is a single straight line or a gentle curve having a large angle with respect to a tangent to the peripheral line of a belt. The connection for the outer belt portion is by means of a finger joint. Further, the connection for the belt portion held between the driving roller (41) and the pinch roller (42a) and for the region extending from the belt portion to the outer peripheral edge is by means of a finger joint using fingers installed with a large pitch, and the connection for the other belt portion is by means of a finger joint using fingers installed with a small pitch. Thus, it is possible to provide a curve conveyor belt with no peeling or break occurring in the joint portion for a long time, the thickness of the joint portion not becoming large, and at low cost.

Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for controlling and monitoring a conveyor belt (1) which is made of rubber or a rubber-like plastic material and preferably provided with embedded reinforcements (3). By overlapping of the longitudinal edges of the conveyor belt said belt can be closed such that it forms a tubular conveyor belt which is supported on all sides by idler wheels. The device also comprises at least the following components: at least one detectable element (5) which is integrated into the conveyor belt and notably takes the form of several elements which in the longitudinal and/or transverse direction are positioned at distances from each other; and at least one scanning unit (6) with which the precise position of the belt can be determined in a non-contacting manner by detection of the element or elements. The device provided for by the invention is characterized in that the detectable element (5) is an induction loop and/or a transponder, a metal particle or a permanent magnet. The scanning unit (6) is advantageously configured as a system of several detector elements (7) which form a detector chain.
