The invention relates to a device for the sterilisation of ballast water on ships by means of UV radiation, with a pump line by means of which ballast water can be taken up and discharged, wherein the pump line is passed through by a number of UV-transparent sheath pipes arranged one behind another in the direction of the pump line and in which UV radiators are arranged for the emission of UV radiation into the pump line and sheath pipes arranged one behind another in the circumferential direction of the pump line are offset by an angle α in relation to one another.

The apparatus comprises a housing (2) in which ozone-generating lamps (4) which operate at the wavelength at least lying between ca. 100 and 300 nm, are mounted longitudinally, to generate the quantity of ozone required by the application and which are maintained in position by a frame (5) within the said housing, which supports them at one end, while at the other end the same lamps are inserted for a short length into the open end of corresponding sheaths (6) aligned axially to those lamps, essentially as long as the lamps and made of any material opaque to ultraviolet radiation with wavelengths less than 200 nm but permeable to radiation of longer wavelength, means being provided for changing the relative position of the lamps and the corresponding sheaths. For the production of ozone the lamps are outside the sheaths and ambient air, which may have added oxygen is circulated by suitable means (9) through the housing (2) which contains them and the ozone produced by the apparatus is capable of use in open circuit, with dispersal of the ozone which has not reacted in the surroundings, or is capable of use in closed circuit, with recirculation of the air from a treatment chamber (18) in which are confined the products or the materials to be treated through the apparatus. In such case after the ozone treatment phase provision is made to eliminate the residual ozone from the treatment room by recycling the air from that room (18) through the apparatus with the lamps (4) which are still active but which in this phase are covered by the corresponding sheaths (6) which allow the passage of ultraviolet radiation of length greater than 200 nm which destroys the ozone.

CONSTITUTION: A UV sterilizer comprises: a UV lamp(20) inserted and fixed to inside a water bath; a diffuser(30) which moves to inside or outside of the water bath, passing through one side of the water bath having UV lamp insertion hole; a partition(40) having a UV lamp fixation hole to support and fix other end of the UV lamp; and a short protrusion which prevents insertion of the UV lamp.

A UV sterilization system of a water purifier is provided to reinforce sterilization capability of the water purifier and supply cleaner water to users by integrating existing direct water type sterilization system and circulation type sterilization system with each other. A UV sterilization system of a water purifier comprises: a UV sterilization part(300) sterilizing water flown in from the outside; a purified water storage part(400) connected to a rear end of the UV sterilization part to provisionally store water passing through the UV sterilization part; a first pipe(600) connecting the UV sterilization part and purified water storage part; a second pipe(700) connecting the purified water storage part and UV sterilization part through a course different from that of the first pipe; and a circulation pump(601) flowing water of the purified water storage part in the UV sterilization part through the second pipe and circulating water flown in the UV sterilization part to the purified water storage part through the first pipe if water of the purified water storage part is a predetermined amount or more.

A water feeder is provided to enhance the convenience of the users by feeding water to users automatically, enable a sensing unit to sense water feeding vessels with diverse shapes, and minimize the mis-operation of the sensing unit. A water feeder comprises: a housing(200) having a water feeding part(210) formed thereon; a water feeder body which is disposed in the housing, and which feeds water; a water discharge part which receives water from the water feeder body and supplies water to the water feeding part; and a sensing unit(410) for transmitting a water discharge signal to the water discharge part by sensing whether a water feeding vessel(600) is in the water feeding part or not. The sensing unit is a proximity sensor for sensing whether an approaching object is present or not. The sensing unit is a sensor for sensing a material of the object.

이산화티탄이 코팅된 칩을 다단계로 설치하여 물이 다단계로 정화되도록 한 물 정화장치가 개시되어 있다. 본 물 정화장치는 광원의 빛이 투과되도록 투명재질로 형성되고, 상부와 하부에 입구와 출구가 각각 형성되며, 내부가 수직방향으로 각각 구분되어 다수개의 수용공간을 형성하고, 각 수용공간의 바닥에는 다수개의 배출공이 천공된 정화조를 구비한다. 각 수용공간에는 이산화티탄이 코팅된 정화부재가 수용된다. 이러한 물 정화장치는 정화될 물이 정화부재가 다단계로 설치된 정화조를 통과하면서 연속적으로 광촉매 작용에 의해 정화됨으로써, 대량의 물을 연속적으로 정화시킬 수 있게 된다. 또한, 물의 용존산소량을 상승시키면서 다단계로 정화함으로써 정화성능이 향상될 수 있는 효과가 제공되는 것이다.

CONSTITUTION: A water purifier(100) accommodating a water tap comprises a body(110), a water tap, a drive unit, and a controller. The water tap has a water exit. The drive unit is installed so as the water tab is accommodated or withdrawn with respect to the body. The controller controls an operation of the drive unit.

CONSTITUTION: A smell, chromaticity, and turbidity removal system for sewage includes a case(10) which is installed at a water treatment facility and forms an intake; a low pressure mercury lamp(20) which is installed inside of the case; a high power ring blower(30) which discharges and scatters air sterilized in the case and ozone generated inside the case; a stabilizer(40) which stabilizes power supplied to the low pressure mercury lamp; a timer part(50) which operates the stabilizer for a predetermined time; a dust collecting type air filter(60) which filters air flowing into the intake of the case; and a metal micron filter(70) which filters air discharged from the ring blower or flowing into the case.
