Abstract:
A security system for monitoring a protected area and sounding an alarm including a plurality of sensors arranged about a protected area for sensing incoming threat, device for generating at least one pulse for each sensor activated by the incoming threat to the area, an alarm controller for receipt of the pulses and sounding of an alert, and a single wire connecting outputs of the sensors to the controller for transmitting the pulses generated by the plurality of sensors to the controller.
Abstract:
A system for monitoring and controlling an area comprising a controller for controlling system operational functions; at least one remote-control transmitter for transmitting system commands to the controller in a code word having a fixed word and a hopping word therein; the fixed word comprising at least one fixed data bit and the hopping word comprising at least one changing data bit, wherein the hopping word changes its binary value from transmission to transmission of the system commands; and, means for scrambling bits of the fixed word and bits of the hopping word within the code word.
Abstract:
A trainable transceiver for installation in a vehicle and for controlling a remote device includes a transceiver circuit configured, based on training information, to control the remote device, a communications device configured to communicate with a mobile communications device, an output device, and a control circuit coupled to the transceiver circuit, coupled to the communications device, and coupled to the output device. The control circuit is configured to receive notification information from the mobile communications device via the communications device, and wherein the control circuit is configured to generate an output using the output device based on the notification information.
Abstract:
A key fob simulator for sending actuation command to a vehicle is discussed. The key fob has memory buffers, processors, and a transceiver that uses wireless communications to communicate with a backend cloud-based system. A RF transmitter of the key fob can transmit RF signals to Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) module of the vehicle. A mapping module includes a map-calculating circuit to calculate map coordinates of the key fob. A security module can receive a rolling security key of the RKE module of the vehicle. The key fob includes buttons that can be pushed by a user of the key fob to generate actuation commands by the security module. Using the RF transmitter, an actuation command and the rolling security key can be sent from security module to the RKE module of the vehicle. The RKE module then executes the actuation command after validating the rolling security key.
Abstract:
A trainable transceiver having an integrated interface connections with various vehicle modules for use with various remote electronic devices and a method of programming and using the same. The wireless trainable transceiver is in a vehicle with an integrated interface allowing connection to a human to machine interface and vehicle position determination device, such a navigation system and compass and the wireless trainable transceiver has the ability to change functions associated with preset buttons on the trainable transceiver, depending upon the location of the vehicle.

Abstract:
A method for training a receiver of a remote control system to a trainable transmitter includes receiving a control signal from an original transmitter associated with the remote control system. A first period of time is started in response to receipt of the control signal. During the first period of time, a learn message is received from a trainable transmitter. In response to the learn message, the receiver begins a receiver training mode. During the training mode, a rolling code control signal is received from the trainable transmitter and the trainable transmitter is enrolled by storing an identifier of the trainable transmitter.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a radio control system for automated equipment, which comprises at least a radio frequency transmitter and at least one radio receiver device, and where the radio transmitter is set to transmit a simultaneous transmission of at least one fixed code and one variable code system whereas the radio receiver is set to receive and selectively recognise the former, the latter or all the coded systems arriving from said transmitter to activate equipment required to be controlled.
