The invention relates to a receiver having a digital timing recovery function. The receiver of the invention detects frequency offset of a received signal by using symbol correlation between the received signal and a reference signal, and increases/decreases the number of data samples according to the detected frequency offset, thereby recovering symbol timing of the received signal.

The robot cleaner system has an external recharging apparatus including a charging stand having a charging terminal, and a plurality of transmission parts for sending signals having different codes and strengths; a robot cleaner including a rechargeable battery, a connection terminal for connection with the charging terminal to supply power to the rechargeable battery, a receiving part for receiving signals from the plurality of transmission parts, and a control part for controlling a movement of the robot cleaner using the signals received by the receiving part, so that the connection terminal is connected to the charging terminal.

A plasma display apparatus that includes a plasma display panel, a chassis base, a driving circuit, a flexible printed circuit, a driver integrated circuit and a first and second thermal conductive silicone. The chassis base is provided at a side of the plasma display panel. The driving circuit unit is provided at a side of the chassis base. The flexible printed circuit electrically connects an electrode of the plasma display panel to the driving circuit unit. The driver integrated circuit is connected to the flexible printed circuit. The first thermal conductive silicone is provided between the driver integrated circuit and the chassis base. The second thermal conductive silicone is provided, in another embodiment, between the driver integrated circuit and the chassis base and encloses an extending portion of the driver integrated circuit. The first and second thermal conductive silicone dissipate heat, absorb vibrations and reduce noise.

Disclosed is a sliding mechanism apparatus used for slidably opening and closing a slider-type cellular phone. A guide member and a slider member are engaged with each other so as to enable to slide relative to each other. The end of one arm of a first torsion spring is connected to the slider member near the left edge thereof. The end of the other arm thereof is coupled to the right half area of the guide member. The end of one arm of a second torsion spring is connected to the slider member near the right edge thereof. The end of the other arm thereof is coupled to the left half area of the guide member. From the expanded original state of the first and second torsion springs, if an external force is exerted on the slider member or the guide member, the torsion springs are compressed into an acute angle and then spread again by means of the elastic force thereof. In this way, the slider member can move to the lowermost position or the lowermost position. In the first and second torsion springs, the distance between the ends of two arms is larger than at least half of the width of the slider member. Therefore, the first and second torsion springs can maximally utilize the width of the guide member while turning, thereby extending the maximum travel distance of the slider member.

Provided are a method and apparatus for displaying application program (AP) menu. The method includes creating an AP menu, for selecting at least one AP, by using data for the at least one AP; and displaying the AP menu in a predetermined area of the image display unit. The AP menu includes an initial menu that displays a plurality of icons for the at least one AP in the same predetermined area, and, if one of the plurality of icons is selected a corresponding AP is executed and displayed in the same predetermined area, or a lower level menu is displayed in the same predetermined area.

The present invention relates to a multi-core fuel rod for research reactor and, more particularly, to a multi-core fuel rod for research reactor in which monolithic fuel cores made of uranium-molybdenum alloy are disposed in an aluminum matrix in a multi-core form. The multi-core fuel rod in accordance with the present invention provides a minimized contact surface area between nuclear fuel and aluminum, and reduces the formation of pores and swelling by restraining formation of reaction layer to avoid excessive reaction between the fuel and aluminum. Therefore, improved stability of nuclear fuel can be obtained by minimizing temperature rise as well as achieving high density and thermal conductivity of the fuel.

A driver chip for controlling a high-resolution display panel is presented. The driver chip is not much larger than a conventional driver chip that is currently used for lower resolution display panels. The driver chip applies data signals to the data lines of the display panel and gate control signals to a gate driver that is formed in the peripheral region of the display panel. The gate driver, which may be made of amorphous silicon TFTs, generates gate signals in response to the gate control signals from the driver chip and applies the gate signals to gate lines. Since the driver chip of the invention controls more gate lines and data lines than a conventional chip of about the same size, the driver chip may be easily adapted for display devices having multiple panels. Where multiple panels are used, the panels may be scanned simultaneously or sequentially.

The present invention relates to a composition comprising sibutramine free base. The present invention provides a solid dispersion wherein sibutramine free base, acid and hydrophilic polymer are uniformly dispersed and a manufacturing method thereof. The composition of the present invention has improved dissolution rate compared to conventional compositions containing sibutramine free base or sibutramine hydrochloride, and is also stable during storage and can be easily mass-produced.

An apparatus for inducing an automatic docking of a robot is disclosed. The apparatus induces connecting terminals of the robot having a receiving unit to connect with docking terminals disposed on one surface of a docking object, and includes a plurality of transmitting units disposed on the same surface as that of the docking object on which the docking terminals are disposed. The plurality of transmitting units is arranged in different angles to one another to transmit signals in different directions to one another, respectively.
