Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide an insulation tester which can display measuring data in a histogram. CONSTITUTION: A discrimination device 12 is provided in a measuring part 11 of a main body of an insulation tester which measures the insulation resistance of an object. An insulation resistance value measured by the measuring part 11 is inputted to the device 12, whereby whether the object has good insulation properties or not is judged. At the same time, the device 12 classifies insulation resistance values of good objects every predetermined range in accordance with the size of the values. The insulation tester 10 is further provided with a counter 13 which sums a count of insulation resistance values within each range classified by the device 12 individually, a display device 14 having a histogram display function, and a setting means 15 for preliminarily setting a threshold value (size) for the insulation resistance value to judge good objects by the device 12. After the measurement, counts of the insulation resistance values in every predetermined range from the counter 13 are inputted to the display device 14 as statistic data and displayed in a histogram.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide an inspection device capable of exactly and easily detecting the various kinds of defects an active matrix array in non-contact state from a color image of the coloring/decoloring of a voltage sensitive dye. CONSTITUTION:In order to make thin film transistors T11-T3n, T31-T3n,... conducted and to charge accumulative capacitor elements C11-C1n, C31-C3n, by immersing an active matrix array in a solution containing a voltage sensitive dye and impressing a bias voltage Vg on a short bus SBG1, an AC voltage Vsig is impressed on a short bus SBG2. A color image on the circuit pattern forming surface of the array obtained as a result is pickuped by means of a color pickup means, taken up and stored as the change of an electric signal, the stored data and expected value pattern obtained from a non-defective substrate are superposed and compared for every pixel, the potential of the defect generating part is discriminated and the portion of defect is detected. Then, by impressing the AC voltage Vsig on the short bus SBG1 and the bias voltage Vg on the short bus SBG2, respectively, the similar inspection is performed.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide an absorption photometer and the self-diagnostic method for the absorption photometer giving no effect to measurement even when aging changes of spectral characteristics of a light source and a light detecting element occur and requiring no span calibrating drive mechanism. CONSTITUTION:This absorption photometer is provided with a light source L provided on the incidence side of a measuring cell 1 where the water under test 1A is introduced, a filter wheel 2 inserted between the light source L and the measuring cell l, a light detecting element PD provided on the outgoing side of the measuring cell 1, and an arithmetic device 9. The filter wheel 2 has measuring filters Fm1, Fm2 and a calibrating filter. At the time of measurement and calibration, the measuring light is sent from the light source L to the light detecting element PD via a rotatively driven optical filter, the measuring cell 1, and an optical path to the light detecting element PD. The reference light extracted with part of the light from the light source L is sent to the light detecting element PD via the optical filter of the filter wheel 2 without passing through the measuring cell 1 at the separate timing from that of the measuring light.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To simply and rapidly identify a type of plastic to sort plastic wastes according to their materials by applying near-infrared rays to plastic of an unknown type to measure an absorption spectrum. CONSTITUTION:Near-infrared rays are applied to plastic of an unknown type to measure an absorption spectrum, its differential spectrum is obtained, and the differential spectrum is observed at predetermined wavelength intervals over a measuring wavelength region. Whether the differential spectrum at each measuring wavelength is on a positive side, a negative side or a side other than these is determined, and a type of the differential spectrum at each measuring wavelength is compared with a differential spectrum obtained in advance on plastic of a known type, thereby identifying the type of an unknown spectrum. A differential spectrum of any order can be used, although a first-order differential spectrum or a second-order differential spectrum may be used.
