Abstract: PURPOSE: A star sensor and a star recognizing/tracking method thereof are provided to prevent a wrong reference voltage from being inputted in an ADC(Analog Digital Converter), to effectively drive a peltier cooler and to have a large capacity of CCD(Charge Coupled Device) image buffer. CONSTITUTION: A reference voltage generation circuit(210) comprises a DAC(Digital Analog Converter) for the analog conversion of a signal for generating a reference voltage; a high reference voltage setting unit(211) including amplifiers(A1,A3) for amplifying the output of the DAC in two stages; a DAC for the analog conversion of a signal for generating a low reference voltage; a low reference voltage setting unit(212) including amplifiers(A2,A4) for amplifying the output of the DAC in two stages; and a resistance(R5) prepared between a non-inversion input terminal of the amplifier of the high reference voltage setting unit and the non-inversion input terminal of the amplifier of the low reference voltage setting unit to generate the high reference voltage of the ADC bigger than the low reference voltage. The ADC reference voltage setting unit is made up to make the high reference voltage bigger than the low reference voltage of the ADC for converting a photo of a star to a digital signal. Accordingly, the error of setting the reference voltage is prevented.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A system for measuring traffic using a virtual buffer in an ATM(Asynchronous Transfer Mode) multiplexer is provided to introduce a virtual buffer which is a monitoring buffer, to effectively detect a characteristic of multiplexing input traffic and correctly estimate the performance of the ATM multiplexer. CONSTITUTION: An ATM(Asynchronous Transfer Mode) multiplexer(1) has a buffer(4) for storing cells(3) doubly inputted from traffic sources(2). A monitoring buffer system(7) including a virtual buffer(8) has an input traffic load identical with that of the ATM multiplexer(1), and has a constant output transmission speed. Monitors(12-14) measure traffic variables, through an arrival time(Xi) of virtual traffic cells, the number(Ni) of arrived cells, and the number(Qn) of waiting cells inputted to the virtual buffer(8) of the monitoring buffer system(7). Counters(15-19) calculate distribution for the number of waiting cells, a moment for a cell arrival time interval and autocorrelation, or a moment for the number of cells arrived during a predetermined time.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An impact damper is provided to guarantee the safety of important components attached to an opening panel from impact when the opening panel attached to an artificial satellite opens. CONSTITUTION: An impact damper contains an opening panel bracket(10) in a Y shape installed on the opening panel, a plate spring(20) having a U shape side section, a pyro-bracket(30) installed in a fixing panel(6), a pyro(40), a pyro-cover(50) and a fixing bar(60).
