Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for inactivating a receiving function of a mobile communication terminal is provided to enable a mobile communication terminal user to use an additional function only while a receiving function is inactivated, thereby preventing any interference caused by a receiving call while using the additional function. CONSTITUTION: A controller receives a call message(S100), and reads a value of a receiving rejection flag stored in a memory(S110). The controller decides whether the value is '1'(S120). If so, the controller decides whether a telephone number of the call message is the same as a self number(S130). If so, the controller records a receiving fact in a receiving rejection mode memory(S140). If the value is '0', the controller decides whether the telephone number of the call message is the same as the self number(S150). If so, the controller sets a wireless speech path to make a call(S160).

Abstract: PURPOSE: An image call processing method of a mobile communication system is provided to induce the conversion of an image call into a voice call to a transmitter without rejecting an image call in a case that a destination terminal can not apply the image call when there is an image call request. CONSTITUTION: A mobile terminal(10) is within a scope of an optional base station(20). The information of the mobile terminal(10) is transmitted to a mobile exchange(40) through base stations(20) and base station controllers(30) for controlling the base stations(20). The information transmitted from the mobile exchange(40) is transmitted to the mobile terminal(10) for receiving a mobile communication service through the base stations(20) and the base station controllers(30) for controlling the base stations(20). The base station(20) plays a role for making the mobile terminal(10) connect to the base station controller(30). The base station(20) consists of a DCU(Digital Channel Unit), a TCU(Timing/frequency Control Unit), a radio frequency unit and a global position system, and performs various functions for subscribers. The base station controller(30) connects the base station(20) to the mobile exchange(40) and controls the connection among base stations. The base station controller(30) also processes and applies a softer, soft and hard handover etc. and performs a signal processing function for the communication with the base station(20) and the mobile exchange(40). The mobile exchange(40) includes an embedded visitor location register. The mobile exchange(40) transmits/receives a signal to/from the base station controller(30), several base stations(20) and a base station management system and thus processes a call of a mobile communication subscriber.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for transmitting upward data at a media access control layer of an asynchronous mobile communication terminal is provided to simplify a data transmission process among a PHY layer, an MAC layer, and an RLC layer. CONSTITUTION: An MAC(Media Access Channel) layer receives a MAC setup request primitive(CMAC-CONFIG-REQ) from an RRC(Radio Resource Control) layer(500). The size of data transmittable to a radio bearer corresponding to a set DCH(Data Channel) parameter is initialized as the maximum TF(Transport Format)(501). If the MAC layer receives a transmission synchronization command primitive(TRC-SYNC-CMD) from a PHY(Physical) layer, the size of data transmittable to all radio bearers corresponding to the corresponding transmission channel is set up to transmit data to an RLC(Radio Link Control) layer through an MAC status indicator(MAC-STATUS-IND)(502-504). The MAC layer sets up the size of the TF not exceeding RLC data length as the size of data transmittable to the next TTI(Transmission Time Interval) to the radio bearer received an MAC status response primitive(MAC-STATUS-RES) from the RLC layer(506). The MAC layer returns to wait TRC-SYNC-CMD(507). To the radio bearer received MAC data request primitive(MAC-DATA-REQ) from the RLC layer, an MAC header is added to configure protocol data units and selects a TFI(Transport Format Indicator) fitting to the RLC data length to send physical data request primitive(PHY-DATA-REQ) to the PHY layer(508-510). A TF not exceeding RLC buffer size is sets as the size of the data transmittable to the next TTI(511).
