PURPOSE: A binary search based high-speed load balance allocation device and a method thereof are provided to rapidly balance loads by providing a load balance band allocation algorithm. CONSTITUTION: A band allocation request reception unit(310) receives a band allocation request signal from one or more modems. A band allocation processing unit(320) allocates a band for an upper channel of one or more modems by using a load balancing algorithm in response to the received band allocation request signal. Different size mini slots are normalized based on the smallest mini slot in the load balancing algorithm. PURPOSE: An IFFT(Inverse Fast Fourier Transform) apparatus for subscriber equipment in a cable network which shares uplink channel resources is provided to control an increase in system complexity by maintaining backward compatibility against an existing DOCSIS(Data Over Cable Service Interface Specification) MAC(Medium Access Control). CONSTITUTION: A channel encoding part(210) corrects errors caused by all kinds of noises by inserting some redundant bits into a digital transmission signal. A mapping part(220) matches an output signal of the channel encoding part with modulated signals like 256(Quadrature Amplitude Modulation) and 1024QAM for channel characteristics of a transmission media. A variable IFFT apparatus(230) performs IFFT. A CP(Cyclic Prefix) insertion part(240) inserts a CP into a guard interval section in order to prevent interference between channels. PURPOSE: A method for allocating data and a pilot in accordance with physical layer channel bonding is provided to stably compensate for a channel of a guard band. CONSTITUTION: It is determined whether transmission data exceeds one channel capacity(S410). Only a single channel is used when the transmission data does not exceed one channel capacity(S420). The number of channels used for transmission is determined when the transmission data exceeds one channel capacity(S430). Data and pilot signals are allocated to the in-band of the channel and a guard band between the channels based on the determined number of the channels(S440). QEF(Quasi Error Free) is checked through a feedback channel(S450). The number of subcarriers of the data signal increases. The number of the subcarriers of the pilot signal decreases(S460).

PURPOSE: A method for synchronizing a reference image with an additional image of a real time broadcast program and a transceiving system therefor are provided to notify the start time of a reference image to a receiver while minimizing changes of a digital broadcast transmitting system. CONSTITUTION: A transmitting server(610) generates a frame which includes an identifier for notifying the start time of a reference image to a receiver in advance. A reference image encoder(652) encodes a reference image in real time. An additional image encoder(654) encodes an additional image. The identifier is a recognition marker or a predetermined pattern which notifies the start time of the reference image.

The device extracts a PMT corresponding to a selected program from the MPEG-2 TS(S220). The device extracts a stereoscopic service descriptor from the extracted PMT. The device analyzes information analyzed by the stereoscopic service descriptor(S230). The device generates a playing video frame and time information(S240). The device acquires additional information corresponding to a reference information form a storage device(S250).
