Abstract: Comunicaciones de acceso multiple por division de codigos (Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA)), conocidas también como comunicaciones de banda ancha. Un método para el seguimiento de un centroide de numerosas senales de banda ancha de trayectoria multiple, constituyendo dichas numerosas senales de banda ancha de trayectoria multiple una senal de canal que incluye una secuencia de codigo transmitida, teniendo el método los pasos de: muestrear digitalmente la senal de canal de banda ancha que responde a una senal de reloj para producir una secuencia de valores de muestra que incluye un conjunto de valores de muestra numerados en forma par y un conjunto de valores de muestra numerados en forma impar: caracterizado porque dicho conjunto de valores de muestra numerados en forma par define una secuencia de muestras de senales de canal de banda ancha tempranas y dicho conjunto de valores de muestra numerados en forma impar define una secuencia de muestras de senales de canal de banda ancha tardías; generar numerosas secuencias de codigos locales, teniendo cada una de dichas secuencias de codigo locales una fase de codigo y un período de símbolo de codigo, y siendo cada una, una version de fase desplazada del codigo de la secuencia de codigo transmitida; combinar cada una de dichas numerosas secuencias de codigo locales con la secuencia de muestra de senal de canal de banda ancha recibidas tempranas para producir numerosas senales de trayectoria multiples desexpandidas, y combinar cada una de dichas numerosas secuencias de codigo local con la secuencia de muestra de senales de canales de banda ancha recibidas tardías para producir numerosas senales de trayectoria multiple desexpandidas tardías; procesar las numerosas senales de trayectoria multiple desexpandidas tempranas para producir un valor de seguimiento temprano y procesar las numerosas senales de trayectoria multiple desexpandida tardías para producir un valor de seguimiento tardío determinar una diferencia entre el valor de seguimiento temprano y el valor del seguimiento tardío para producir un valor de senal de error. y ajustar la fase de codigo de cada una de dichas secuencias de codigo locales que corresponde al valor de senal de error.

Abstract: Comunicaciones de acceso multiple por divisiones de codigos (Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA)), conocidas también como comunicaciones de banda ancha. Un modem de acceso multiple por division de codigo (CDMA) para transmitir y recibir senales de telecomunicaciones incluyendo senales de informacion y senales de control de conexion que comprende: un transmisor de modem que tiene: (a) elementos de generacion de codigos que comprenden un elemento de codigo piloto genérico para proveer una senal de codigo piloto asociada y un elemento de mensaje para generar numerosas senales de codigo de mensaje; b) elementos de expansion acoplados a los elemento de mensaje para combinar cada una de las senales de la informacion, con una respectiva de las senales de codigo de mensaje para generar numerosas senales de mensaje procesadas de banda ancha que comprenden una senal en multiplex por division de codigo (CDM) y la senal piloto asociada en donde cada una de las senales de codigo de mensaje de los numerosos elementos procesadores de modem es sincronica con la senal de codigo piloto global; y un elemento receptor de modem que tiene: a) elemento de generacion de codigo locales que comprenden un elemento de codigo piloto asociado local para proveer una senal de codigo piloto asociada local y un elemento de codigo de mensaje local para generar numerosas senales de codigo de mensaje local siendo los elementos de codigo piloto asociados locales sincronicos con los elementos de codigo de mensaje local : b) un elemento de adquisicion y seguimiento de codigo piloto asociados que comprenden numerosos elementos de correlacion de fase retardada de codigo piloto asociado para correlacionar versiones de fase retardada respectiva de la senal de codigo piloto asociada local con una senal CDM recibida para producir una senal piloto asociada desexpandida, cambiándose la fase de codigo de la senal de codigo piloto asociada en respuesta a una senal de adquisicion: y elementos para detectar la presencia de la senal piloto asociada desexpandida para producir una senal de adquisicion, indicando la senal de adquisicion un grado de sincronizacion entre la senal de codigo piloto asociada y la senal de codigo piloto global; c) un elemento de seguimiento de codigo piloto asociado que incluye elementos para ajustar la senal de codigo piloto asociada local en fase, en respuesta a la senal de adquisicion en un sentido que tiende a incrementar el nivel de la senal piloto asociada desexpandidas; y d) numerosos elementos de adquisicion de senal de mensaje para proveer numerosas senales de mensaje de recepcion desexpandida, incluyendo cada elemento de adquisicion de senal de mensaje un correlacionador de senal de mensaje de recepcion para correlacionar una de las senales de codigo de mensaje de recepcion locales con la senal CDM para producir una senal de mensaje de recepcion desexpandida respectiva.

The system comprises a first station (501) and a second station (502), the initial transmit power level of which is maintained, wherein the first station generates an automatic power control signal by comparing a measured noise power level in a communication channel and an estimated system transmit power level and the second station occasionally transmits a spread spectrum signal whilst in an inactive state and receives the automatic power control signal to adjust an initial transmit power level thereof.
