    Abstract: A method, an apparatus, and a computer-readable medium for wireless communication are provided. In one aspect, the example method may include receiving a data frame including a Medium Access Control, MAC, header or a physical layer, PHY, header, wherein the MAC header or the PHY header of the data frame includes transmit power related information corresponding to a second device. The transmit power related information includes at least one of a maximum transmit power, a power backoff per modulation and coding scheme, MCS, information, or an actual transmit power. The example method further includes selecting, by the first device based on the transmit power related information, a first modulation and coding scheme for scheduling an uplink transmission with the second device in accordance with the first modulation and coding scheme.

More particularly, aspects generally relate to techniques for indicating a minimum and maximum channel bandwidth in a frame (e.g., short frame).
