Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the successive approximation A/D converter circuit in which high performance and high processing speed are attained. CONSTITUTION:The circuit is provided with a D/A converter 2 and a comparator circuit 3 receiving sequentially an output of the D/A converter 2 and a signal outputted from a sample-and-hold circuit 1 via respectively switches S1, S2, comparing a reference voltage with an analog input voltage and deciding bit data sequentially. The comparator circuit 3 is a successive approximation A/D converter having capacitors C1 whose one-side terminals are respectively connected to the switches S1, S2, an inverter I1 connecting to the other terminals of the capacitors C1 and a switch S3 connected in parallel with the inverter I1. At least two systems of the switches (S1a, S1b), (S2a, S2b), and the capacitors (C1a, C1b) are provided so that the capacitance is selected depending on a voltage level stored in the capacitors as to the switches S1, S2 and the capacitors C1 connecting to them.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a converter circuit which is simple-structured and has an ability to improve a power factor and a function to output the stabilized output without a ripple. CONSTITUTION:The structure of a step-up converter is that an inductance element L is connected to a source of DC voltage through a first switching element 51 and a diode D1 and a first capacitor C1 is connected to both terminals of the source of dc voltage through a parallel circuit of a second switching element S2 and a diode D2 and a second capacitor C2 for output is connected to the source of dc voltage through a diode D3. The first and the second switching element S1, S2 are turned on and off complementarily to each other, a power factor is improved by inverse excitation of the inductance element L and control of the transmission of the excitation energy to the first capacitor C1, and the output is stabilized by reverse excitation of the inductance element L and control of the emission of the reverse excitation energy.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a low-noise and high-efficiency power supply circuit using a switching inverter circuit. CONSTITUTION:The title circuit is constituted of a DC-DC converter 11, a switching inverter circuit 12, and an output circuit 13 for rectifying, smoothing, and then taking out the output. An inductance element Ls is connected in series to an output terminal or an input terminal in the converter 11, the switching inverter circuit 12 includes a switching element S12 and a timing control circuit 14 which turns it on or off, and then a voltage resonance circuit according to a capacitor Cp and a current resonance circuit according to a capacitor Cs are formed at the primary side of an output transformer T. The inductance element Ls of the converter 11 is also used as an inductance element for preventing interference which is normally used for the switching inverter circuit 12.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the tracking performance with respect to a steep rise of a large amplitude input and to attain a high efficiency in an amplifying circuit for an audio power amplifier or the like. CONSTITUTION:A main power supply path 42 through which a major power is supplied and an auxiliary power supply path 48 through which an auxiliary power is supplied are provided as a power supply source path for an output stage transistor(TR) Qa. The efficiency of the main power supply path 42 is improved by switching drive with a switching TR Qs. The response of the main power supply path 42 is not excellent since a smoothing coil L1 is inserted into the path 42. Thus, deficient power is supplied from the auxiliary power supply path 48 with an excellent response to the TR Qa against a steep input rise. Even when a large amplitude input rises steeply, since the auxiliary power supply path 48 is driven by a large voltage +B similarly to the case with the main power supply path 42, required power is supplied to the path 48 even against the steep rise of the large amplitude input.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To limit areas to be controlled by each acoustic equipment when listening to music separately in plural areas by remotely controlling the shared acoustic equipment main body part for these plural areas. CONSTITUTION:Among divided rooms 10 to 14, an acoustic equipment main body part 16 is installed in a room 10. Each room 10 to 14 has speakers 30 and 32. A command signal sent from an infrared-ray transmitter 36 in each room 10 to 14 are received by a light receiving unit 34 and sent to a command signal input/output device 56. The command signal input/output device 56 outputs these command signals as independent signals, or as selection mix signals while mixing several one of them, or all mixed signals while mixing every one of them respectively. The independent signal controls receivers 18-0 and 18-4 for each room. The selection mix signal controls the common equipments 20 and 23 for each selected room. The all mixed signal controls the common equipment 22 for every room.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To easily perform ON/OFF control of a speaker in the area by a remote control operation when listening to music in other area than the equipment main body is installed. CONSTITUTION:When an ON/OFF command is transmitted using an infraredray transmitter 122 from a subroom 108, a photodiode 126 receives this. The light receiving signal is transferred to a main room 106 through a cable 115, and its code is identified by a microcomputer 178. In the case of the system ON command, a relay coil 127 is excited by turning on a transistor 190 and speaker switches 123 and 125 are turned on, permitting listening to the music in a subroom 108. In the case of the system OFF command, the relay coil 127 is degaussed by turning off the transistor 190, and both speakers 123 and 125 are turned off, resulting in stopping the music.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent noise from being outputted as sound with simple circuit constitution and to protect the circuit and load from noise or malfunction by utilizing a DC protection circuit provided on an audio equipment for the protection of a speaker and the circuit as it is so as to protect the disconnection/ coupling of a control information storage body. CONSTITUTION:Circuit components are arranged splittingly to both an amplifier main body 1 and the control information storage body 2 and when the main body 1 and the storage body 2 are separated, part of components R1-R3 of the circuit components form a DC bias circuit applying a DC voltage to the input of a DC protection circuit 13. When the main body 1 and the storage body 2 are coupled, a power voltage division circuit applying a substantially zero voltage to the input of the DC protection circuit 13 is formed in place of all circuit components arranged splittingly, parts P21, P22, P28, P29 of connection terminals of the storage body 2, terminals P11, P12, P18, P19 of the main body 1 corresponding to the said terminals and the DC bias circuit. Thus, the output of noise as sound is prevented with simple circuit constitution and the circuit and load are protected from noise and malfunction.
