Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide roller for a sliding door having sufficiently high creep resistance against creep deformation when baking and coating, having excellent shock resistance, and provided with a resin-made member corroding no guide rail. SOLUTION: This guide roller 1 for the sliding door for a vehicle is provided with the resin-made member 12 constituting an outer peripheral face 11 of the roller rolling on the guide rail 18 by covering the outer periphery 10 of an outer ring 3 of a rolling bearing 9 by using a resin compound containing base resin, at least one kind of reinforced fiber selected from a group of carbon fibers having diameter of ϕ8 μm or less and whiskers, and an impact reforming material and having bending elastic modulus of 5,000-15,000 MPa at 120°C. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple-structured and easily-assembled drive unit for a spring-up flap. SOLUTION: The drive unit is equipped with a first fixing element 3 connectable to a fixing structure part or a movable structure part of an automobile, and a housing tube 1 relatively movable in the axial direction with respect to the first fixing element 3 at the end of the opposite side of the first fixing element 3. The housing tube 1 has a second fixing element 4 connectable to the movable structure part or the fixing structure part of the automobile on the end of the opposite side of the first fixing element 3. Further, the drive unit is equipped with a spindle drive part having a screw spindle 8 and a spindle nut 9 and rotatably drivable by rotational drive units 20, 21, and drives the first fixing element 3 and the housing tube 1 relatively movable in the axial direction. One end of the screw spindle 8 is rotatably supported to the housing tube 1, and the spindle nut 9 connected to the first fixing element 3 is connected to a guide tube 1 relatively unrotatably. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of mounting a gas spring on the frame of a vehicle, achieving a high degree of freedom in rotation around a desired shaft while eliminating the need for a special gasket. SOLUTION: The gas spring 21 is mounted on the frame 100 with a socket joint consisting of a mounting ball 104, a socket 108 and a yoke 24. The socket joint is mounted to be rotated 180° around the shaft of the yoke 24, and so it can be moved more freely than in conventional technology and be rotated over 180° in a wide variety of uses. A clutch mechanism for coupling and uncoupling an electric motor and leadscrew has dog-clutch gears that can be engaged by a linear actuator, bell crank, and linkage shaft. Uncoupling force due to narrowed dog teeth are resisted by the alignment of the linkage shaft with the central portion of the bell crank.
Abstract:
A door closer, comprising a door closer housing mounted to one of a door frame or a door surface and a linkage arm for pivoting the door between open and closed positions. The linkage arm has a first and second end, the first end mounted to the other of the door frame or the door surface. The door closer includes a rotatable connector between the linkage arm and the door closer housing, the linkage arm second end engaging with the rotatable connector. The connector has a rotatable body portion and head protrusion substantially secured in a female receptor to transmit rotation about a longitudinal axis of the connector. One or both of the head protrusion or female receptor has a curved profile and is further movable with respect to the head protrusion to permit limited rotational misalignment of the linkage arm on any axis perpendicular to the connector longitudinal axis.
