Abstract: A drug dispensing system includes fulfillment stations that are each characterized by a set of dispensary attributes. The fulfillment stations each, in response to receiving a first order message including a first unique drug identifier, fill a container with pills matching the first unique drug identifier. A routing determination module, for each order message corresponding to a prescription order, selects one of the fulfillment stations based on compatibility between dispensary attributes for the selected fulfillment station and dispensation preferences related to the order message and transmits the order message to the selected fulfillment station. An order status subsystem conditionally sends a cancellation instruction relating to one of the order messages to the respective fulfillment station to cancel dispensing of pills. Each fulfillment station is configured to, in response to receiving a first cancellation instruction indicating a specified order message, terminate dispensing of pills corresponding to the specified order message.

Abstract: An AI record matching system includes processors that may compare patient records using one or more rules, criteria, or parameters and determine whether any of the patient records include different demographic information but include same medical information for a same person based on comparing the patient records using the one or more rules, criteria, or parameters. The processors may receive feedback data indicating an overmatching of the patient records to the same person or an undermatching of the patient records to the same person. The processors may be trained by modifying the one or more rules, criteria, or parameters based on the feedback data. The processors may iteratively repeat one or more of examining the patient records, determining whether any of the patient records include the different demographic information but the same medical information for the same person, receiving the feedback data, and training the one or more processors.

Abstract: A method for managing medication delivery risk is provided. The method obtains risk data for medication deliveries in an identified geo-spatial location, and generates a predicted risk score based on a machine learning model trained to analyze the risk data. As described herein, the predicted risk score indicates whether a delivery interruption is required for the medication deliveries in the identified geo-spatial location. When the predicted risk score indicates a required delivery interruption, the method (i) removes queue entries for one or more of the medication deliveries from a delivery queue, to implement the required delivery interruption; (ii) generates an interruption notification associated with the required delivery interruption; and (iii) transmits the interruption notification.

Abstract: A method includes receiving a scheduling request that identifies a medical consumable, accessing first document types that indicate how often medical consumables are to be ingested, identifying a frequency at which the first designated medical consumable is to be consumed based on the first document types, accessing second document types that indicate a pattern of personal activity behavior, identifying one or more temporal opportunity windows based on the second document types, determining one or more matches between the frequency at which the first designated medical consumable is to be consumed and the one or more temporal opportunity windows, creating an adherence schedule based on the one or more matches that indicates when reminders to ingest the first designated medical consumable are to be generated, and generating one or more of the reminders to ingest the first designated medical consumable on a mobile electronic device according to the adherence schedule.

Abstract: The medication container includes a receptacle that has an inner space for holding medications. The cap assembly is coupled with the receptacle for retaining the medications in the inner space. The cap assembly includes at least one passage that can be selectively opened and closed and includes at least one medication sensor that is configured to detect any medications travelling through the passage and out of the receptacle in a contactless manner. A microprocessor is in electrical communication with the at least one medication sensor and with a memory. The microprocessor is configured to record data to the memory in response to the at least one medication sensor detecting a medication travelling through the passage. A wireless module is in electrical communication with the microprocessor for uploading the data to an external device.

Abstract: A method includes maintaining a question repository in which each question corresponds to a set of decision trees. A distance matrix encodes a distance between each pair of questions. In response to a request for a new question, the method converts the new question into a set of tokens. For each question of the existing questions, the method determines a minimum distance between each token of the new question and the tokens of the question and sums the minimum distances to calculate a distance between the question and the new question. The method includes performing cluster analysis on the distance matrix. Performing cluster analysis includes normalizing the distance matrix and applying a hierarchical clustering process to the normalized distance matrix. Based on the cluster analysis, the method transmits an alternative question proposal or adds the new question to the question repository.

Abstract: A machine learning system for training a data model to predict data states in medical orders is described. The machine learning system is configured to train a data model to predict whether a medical order requires prior authorization (“PA”) for medical orders within a medical order data set so that related systems may process incoming medical orders with PA determinations predicted by the data model. The machine learning system includes a first data warehouse system. The first prescription processing system generates a data model of historical orders and payer responses, apply a predictive machine learning model to the data model to generate a trained predictor of whether a medical order requires PA, associated with order data, apply the trained predictor to a plurality of production orders to determine PA for each of the plurality of production orders, and process the plurality of production orders with each associated PA determination.

Abstract: Methods for determining whether different first names are nicknames of each other and are to be used for matching different patient records with the same person are provided. At least one method includes obtaining the different first names and demographic information associated with each of the different first names, determining whether at least a threshold number of instances of the patient records include pairs of the different first names each associated with a household, measuring a likelihood of affinity between the different first names in each of the pairs based on the demographic information associated with each of the different first names, comparing the likelihood of affinity with an affinity threshold, identifying the different first names in at least one of the pairs as the nicknames of each other responsive to the likelihood of affinity exceeding the affinity threshold, and updating or creating a database storing associations between the nicknames.
