Provided is a method for constructing and transmitting guidance information for impulse pay-per-view (IPPV) broadcasting service, and a computer-readable recording medium for recording a program that implements the method. The method of the present research includes the step of: inserting an IPPV service descriptor, which is suggested as a standard data structure for transmitting IPPV service purchase guidance information, to an aggregate event information table; and transmitting the aggregate event information table.

PURPOSE: A key update method in a CAS(Conditional Access System) of a digital cable TV is provided to transmit an EMM(Entitlement Management Message) to a subscriber receiving device of a subscriber having authority capable of watching a conditional access program through an OOB(Out-Of-Band) channel and update an encryption key. CONSTITUTION: An H/E(Head/End) transmits an EMM including a key updated according to the direction of a subscriber receiving device of a subscriber to a POD(Point Of Deployment) module of the subscriber by key information updated according to an update period for updating the key(114,117,120,121). If it is necessary for aperiodically updating a key, the H/E transmits an EMM including information updated according to the direction of the subscriber receiving device to the POD module by updated key information and receives an aperiodic key update result of the POD module(115,118,122,123). The H/E transmits an EMM including a key to be deleted according to the direction of a subscriber receiving device of a bad subscriber to a POD module of the bad subscriber for updating the key(116,119,124,125).

PURPOSE: A system and a method for transmitting and receiving digital cable broadcasting information are provided to process service information among messages, which are transmitted to a receiver through out-of-band from a head end, more rapidly than other messages. CONSTITUTION: A system for transmitting and receiving digital cable broadcasting information includes a head end module(10) and a reception module. The head end module gives packet identifier numbers limited within a predetermined packet identifier number range to tables on which data is loaded using MPEG transmission technique, and constructs transmission packets to transmit the packets. The reception module receives the transmission packets from the head end module and checks the packet identifier numbers to judge whether or not service information is included in the packets, and decides packet processing according to the judged result.

According to the present invention, a method and an apparatus for providing a multicast broadcast service are disclosed. The apparatus for providing a multicast broadcast service receives content from a user; censors the content; performs IP capsulation on the content; reconstructs a broadcast frame for the content to not cause interference with other broadcast signals; generates a modulation signal containing the content; and broadcasts the modulation signal to a subject via a broadcast network.

PURPOSE: A method for providing multimedia using mobile broadcast service and a system thereof are provided to provide multimedia by using interchangeability of a broadcast channel and a personal mobile communication channel. CONSTITUTION: Multimedia is provided through a broadcast channel on the basis of a user terminal (S310). When the multimedia is not able to be provided through the broadcast channel, the multimedia is provided through a mobile communication channel (S320). Information about the multimedia which is provided through the mobile communication channel is statistically calculated on the basis of the position of the user terminal (S330).
