Abstract: The present invention provides an apparatus and a method for tracking the position of a head, which are capable of improving accuracy and utilization of three-dimensional measurements by using a plurality of low-priced tracking devices and a combination of measurements thereof. The apparatus for tracking the position of a head according to the present invention includes two or more separate tracking units, a precision tracking unit, and a tracking control unit.
