CONSTITUTION: A turning type water gate capable of removing impurities is formed by coupling the bottom of a water gate(10) to a lower frame(2a) provided to the bottom(1) of a water gate frame formed on two sides of an irrigation canal by a hinge, coupling the rear end of a hydraulic cylinder to the lower bottom of the water gate by a hinge(21), coupling the top of the hydraulic cylinder to the backside of the water gate by a hinge(22) or an actuator, and installing an impurity removal plate(100) to the water gate to be operated simultaneously with the opening and closing of the water gate.
