CONSTITUTION: In a wheel guard(5) for a vehicle, a bumper cover(4) of a vehicle body and a mudguard(3) are mounted with a tapping screw and a clip nut. The wheel guard has an injection-molded protrusion(8) of a boss shape and the bumper cover and the mudguard are mounted to the protrusion. According to the reinforcing ribs, lowering of the bonnet is avoided. By excluding energy absorber foam and a bumper-reinforcing member, weight of a bumper is reduced. Abstract: PURPOSE: Reinforcement structure of bumper sides for a vehicle is provided to prevent a flange from being broken and protect passengers at a collision by installing a reinforcing rib between the flange and a bumper. CONSTITUTION: A flange(11) is bent in the upper part of a bumper(10), and contacted to the lower part of a side frame(20). An assembling hole(12) is formed in the flange to insert an assembling bolt(30), and a reinforcing rib(13) is formed between the flange and the bumper. The bumper transmits impact to the reinforcing rib by absorbing and dispersing in applying shock to sides of the bumper at a collision.
