    Abstract: A technique for wireless communications in a wireless system including: receiving, by a wireless device, a request to perform a pathloss reference signal (PLRS) measurement procedure in an unlicensed band, wherein the wireless device is configured to accumulate a first number of PLRS measurements within a PLRS switching period to perform the PLRS measurement procedure, wherein the first number of PLRS measurements is more than one, measuring, by the wireless device, a second number of PLRS signals during the PLRS switching period, wherein the second number is less than the first number of PLRS measurements within the PLRS switching period, determining, by the wireless device, to extend the PLRS switching period, and listening, by the wireless device, for a PLRS signal during the extended PLRS switching period.

    Abstract: Aspects are presented herein of apparatuses, systems, and methods for measurement gap configuration. A cellular network may establish communication with a UE using a first and second cell. The cellular network may configure bandwidth parts (BWPs) for the first and second cell, including a first and second BWP for the first cell and a third and fourth BWP for the second cell. A measurement gap configuration that specifies when the UE is to use a first measurement gap pattern may be provided to the UE. At a first time, the cellular network may communicate with the UE using the first BWP for the first cell and the third BWP for the second cell, based on the first measurement gap pattern. At a second time, the cellular network may communicate with the UE using the second BWP for the first cell based on a modification of the first measurement gap pattern.

To obtain these measurements, a UE may perform layer 3 (L3) measurements for one or more neighboring cells, and provide an L3 measurement report to a network node. Candidate measurement neighboring cells for L1 measurements may be identified based on the L3 measurements.
