Abstract: A user equipment (UE) configures radio resource management (RRM) relaxation in extended discontinuous reception (eDRX) in cases with or without a paging transmission window (PTW). The UE determines whether an eDRX cycle is configured as being greater or less than 10.24 seconds; determine whether the UE has met legacy RRM relaxation criteria for a relaxation scaling factor k; and configures RRM relaxation timing based on use of a paging transmission window (PTW) and the relaxation scaling factor k.

Abstract: Systems and methods for performing timing advance (TA) validation at a user equipment (UE) for a TA to be used when transmitting a configured grant small data transmission (CG-SDT). Mechanisms for bounding one or more measurement windows during which one or more synchronization signal blocks are measured during a reference signal received power (RSRP) measurement method of the TA validation are discussed, and may be set using information corresponding to timing drift due to relativistic effects, clock differences between a UE and a base station, and/or information about a UE discontinuous reception (DRX) cycle. Further, time interval limitations between various events attendant to such an RSRP measurement method are discussed as being determined using information corresponding to timing drift due to relativistic effects, clock differences between a UE and a base station, information about a DRX cycle used at the UE, and/or a maximum TA timer duration.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) is configured to determine to perform a sounding reference signal (SRS) transmission with an antenna port switch operation, wherein the SRS transmission with the antenna port switch operation is performed during an SRS transmission occasion comprising one or more symbols of a slot and apply one or more scheduling restriction rules corresponding to the SRS transmission with the antenna port switch to provide one or more scheduling restrictions for the UE, wherein the scheduling restrictions cause the UE to omit performing at least one of transmission operations or reception operations during one or more symbols of the slot or one or more symbols of an adjacent slot.

Abstract: Techniques, described herein, include solutions for enabling a user equipment (UEs) to operate in a power saving mode (PSM) by performing radio link monitoring (RLM), beam failure detection (BFD), and radio resource management (RRM) based on one or more reference signals with a decreased periodicity. The reference signals may include system synchronizations blocks (SSBs), a channel state information (CSI) m signal (CSI-RSs), or a combination thereof. A base station may be configured to operate as a master cell group (MCG) node or a secondary cell group (SCG) node and may transmit reference signals with an increased periodicity to UEs in an active mode of operation while also transmitting reference signals with a decreased periodicity to UEs in a PSM.

Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and methods for mitigation of listen before talk conflicts in the unlicensed spectrum. A wireless device may receive one or more synchronization signal blocks (SSBs) from a base station (BS) as part of a measurement procedure with listen before talk (LBT). The wireless device may determine one or more LBT failures associated with one or more receive beams of the wireless device. Furthermore, in response to determining the one or more LBT failures associated with the one or more receive beams of the wireless device, the wireless device may extend a measurement period for the one or more receive beams of the wireless device. The wireless device may then receive one or more additional SSBs on the one or more receive beams of the wireless device.

Abstract: Systems and methods for networks having user equipment (UE) that can perform measurement/reporting of received signals and a sounding reference signal (SRS) transmission that is part of an SRS antenna port switching procedure are described herein. In some circumstances, the measurement and the SRS antenna port switching procedure overlap on one or more symbols. Across various embodiments, the UE prioritizes one of the measurement and the SRS antenna port switching procedure based on one or more of a scheduling type (periodic, semi-persistent, aperiodic) of the measurement, a scheduling type of a channel state information (CSI) report for a measurement result for the measurement, and/or a scheduling type of the SRS transmission of the SRS antenna port switching procedure. Networks that avoid overlaps by scheduling SRS transmissions away from UE signal measurements, or transmissions of signals to be measured away from UE SRS antenna port switching procedures, are also described.
