Abstract:
PURPOSE:A rubber composition that is composed of a specific silicone rubber, a specific polybutadiene rubber, a hardness regulator, a weight regulator and a curing agent, thus giving golf balls guaranteeing long carries with high impact resilience. CONSTITUTION:The rubber component containing (A) 4-100wt% of a silicone rubber of more than 800 polymerization degree based on siloxane units and (B) 96-0wt% of polybutadiene rubber which has more than 30 of Mooney viscosity and more than 40% of cis-1,4-bonds, is combined with (C) a hardness regulator, (D) a weight regulator and (E) a curing agent. Component A used includes 0.1- 100%, preferably 5-35% of vinyl group based on the whole side chains.
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide a composition having extremely high slip resistance even in wet state, and exhibiting excellent impact and oscillation absorbing property, by mixing a styrene-butadiene copolymer having high styrene content with a general-purpose rubber, adding a reinforcing agent, etc. to the mixture, and curing with heat. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition having an impact resilience of 0-30% can be produced by compounding (A) 100pts.wt. of a rubber mixture composed of (i) a styrene-butadiene copolymer having high styrene content wherein the styrene-content is adjusted to 45-70(wt)%, preferably 55-65% by the polymerization or blending process and (ii) 5-65%, preferably 20-50% general-purpose rubber based on the whole rubber mixture, with (B) 0-100parts of a filler, (C) 5-80parts of a reinforcing agent, (D) 0-60parts of a plasticizer and (E) a vulcanizing agent and a vulcanization accelerator, and curing the composition by heating at 110-180 deg.C.

PURPOSE: A low-resilience rubber foam suitable as a shoe material capable of absorbing a strong impact resulting from walking or running, prepared by adding a filler, a plasticizer, a blowing agent, and a vulcanizing agent to a specified rubber mixture and expanding and curing the mixture by heating. CONSTITUTION: A low-resilience rubber foam having a resilience of 0W35%, obtained by mixing 100pts.wt. high-styrene content styrene-butadiene copolymer/ general-purpose rubber mixture comprising a high-styrene content styrene-butadiene copolymer of a styrene content controlled at 53W75wt% during polymerization or by blending and 40wt% or below, based on the total mixed rubber weight, general-purpose rubber with 30W300pts.wt. filler, 5W60pts.wt. plasticizer, 0.5W50pts.wt. blowing agent, and a vulcanizing agent and expanding and curing the resulting mixture by heating. This foam is suitable as a shoe material capable of absorbing a strong impact resulting from walking or running and of protecting the nervous system or joint system of food. PURPOSE:To provide the titled foam which is lightweight and has excellent energy absorptivity, vibration absorptivity, etc., by adding a filler, a plasticizer, a blowing agent, a vulcanizing agent, and a vulcanizing accelerator to a styrene/ butadiene copolymer having a high styrene content and expanding and curing it by heating. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. styrene/butadiene copolymer having a styrene content of 50-70wt% or mixture thereof, 30-300pts.wt. filler such as calcium carbonate or bentonite, 5-60pts.wt. plasticizer such as dioctyl phthalate or arom. oil, 2- 60pts.wt. blowing agent such as dinitrosopentatetramine, a vulcanizing agent and a vulcanizing accelerator are mixed together. The mixture is expanded and cured by heating to obtain the desired low-resilience rubber foam having low impact rebound over a wide applicable temp. range of -10 to 40 deg.C.

PURPOSE:To apply biaxial tension to a test piece easily at a high speed by applying impulsive tensile force to the center part of the test piece whose circumference is fitted fixedly onto a pressure-proof block and displacement the test piece in its thickness direction. CONSTITUTION:Electrodes 14 and 16, the test piece 18, and a presser plate 20 are stacked successively on the insulating pressure-proof block 12 made of hard high- polymer material; and four bolts 22 pierce the presser plate 20, test piece 18, and pressure-proof block 12 and a nut 24 engages its tip part threadably to press the test piece 18 and electrodes 14 and 16 against the pressure-proof block 12 by the presser plate 20. An opening is made in the center of the presser plate 20 and the presser plate 20 presses the circumference of the test piece 18 fixedly against the pressure-proof block 12 except at the part corresponding to the opening 26. Consequently, the test piece 18 is capable of biaxial displacement in the direction wherein the part corresponding to the opening 26 enters the opening 26, i.e. in the thickness directions. A plug 34 is fitted in the end part of the through hole to block the through hole 32. This plug 34 exits from the through hole 32 by expansion pressure during discharge to discharge abruptly the test piece which expands in two axial directions by an impulsive wave and the expansion pressure.

CONSTITUTION: (A) A composition having a polymerizable side chain [preferably (meth)acryloyloxy], a dihalocyclopropane structure (preferably the halogen part is chlorine or bromine) as a polar group, and ≥500 molecular weight is blended with (B) preferably 4W80pts.wt. organic acid[preferably (meth)acrylic acid]having a vinyl or methacryl group, polymerizable with the component A based on 100pts.wt. total composition, and, preferably (C) a vinyl monomer such as methyl methacrylate, etc., to give the desired composition. The amount of the methacryloyloxy group is 1/100W1/5,000mol equivalent per unit weight of the polymer having a carbon-carbon unsaturated dobule bond and ≥500 molecular weight. PURPOSE: To provide the titled coating agent which can impart an excellent anti-slip effect to rubber goods without deteriorating rubber substrates, consisting of a solution contg. a rubber or a resin having a specified vitrification temperature. CONSTITUTION: A rubber or a resin having a vitrification temp. of -20W5°C (e.g. a styrene-butadiene rubber having a high styrene content or dichloro-cyclopropane-modified cis-1,4-polybutadiene) is dissolved in an org. solvent such as methylene chloride. NEW MATERIAL:A compound expressed by the formula (X and Y are Cl or Br). EXAMPLE: N,N',N"-Tris(2,2-Dichlorocyclopropylmethyl)isocyanurate. USE: Various modifying additives, e.g. a flame retardant and a low smoking agent, particularly a cellular opening agent for a synthetic resin foam material, particularly polyurethane foam, or a hardenss increasing agent. PROCESS: Triallyl isocyanurate is reacted with a haloform and a solution of an alkaline metallic hydroxide in a molar amount of 70 times or more that of α,β- unsaturated bonds in the presence of an onium compound consisting of a quaternary ammonium salt or quaternary phosphonium salt having at least one ≥4C aliphatic substituent group as a phase transfer catalyst to give the aimed compound expressed by the formula selectively in high yield.
