Die Erfindung betrifft einen Schaltungsträger (10), insbesondere Leiterplatte (11), mit wenigstens einer in einem Aufnahmebereich (20) angeordneten Aufnahme (21 ) für ein elektrisches Anschlusselement (12). Erfindungsgemäß ist es vorgesehen, dass die Aufnahme (21) als nutförmige, vorzugsweise schlitzförmige Aufnahme (21) ausgebildet ist, die von einer Seitenfläche (22) des Schaltungsträgers (10) ausgeht und einen zur Seitenfläche (22) hin offenen Einführbereich (23) für das elektrisches Anschlusselement (12) und auf der dem Einführbereich (23) abgewandten Seite einen Nutgrundbereich (24) aufweist.

The first and second axes (A, B) form an angle (α) between them, and provide for a freedom of rotation of the jack (16) , thereby providing for a positioning of the jack (16) and routing of a connected cable in desired directions relative to the housing (10).

An electrically operated device (10) includes an electric motor (36) with an electrical cord set (30). The cord set (30) includes an electrical connecting plug (80) for coupling with an AC electrical outlet. The device (10) further includes a detector (46). A control (42) is electrically coupled to the motor (36) and electrically coupled to the detector (46) for controlling the level of electric current drawn by the electric motor (36) from the AC electrical outlet. The detector (46) detects whether the electrical connecting plug (80) is connected to a 15 Amp electric receptacle or to a 20 Amp electric receptacle and, in response, the control (42) establishes the electric profile of the electric motor (36) to correspond to the 15 Amp electric receptacle or to the 20 Amp electric receptacle.

The invention relates to an electric machine (1), especially a starter for an internal combustion engine, comprising a commutator (4) and a brush apparatus (2), brushes (3) being arranged on the commutator (4) in such a manner that at least one pair of brushes can rotate off-set from each other, every brush (3) being held in a brush holder (5), every brush holder (5) being fastened to an axial face on a brush plate (6), every brush (3) being alternately switchable in series either with a negative pole or a positive pole by a current conducting device (18, 19) to give a pair of brushes, and the brush plate (6) with connecting leads (24, 25, 26) leading to brushes (3) on the negative pole side and a busbar (10) with connecting leads (21, 22, 23) leading to brushes (3) on the positive pole side forming a respective current conducting device (18, 19). In order to protect the brush apparatus (2) from thermal overloads in an easy manner, at least one current conducting device (18, 19) is designed to have a unit for reducing heat dissipation.

The coils are defined by a winding wire including winding wire ends electrically contacted with a printed circuit board at an end surface through connectors. The connectors each include at least two insulation displacement contacts receiving a winding wire end of a stator winding. Each connector includes a single electrical connection to the printed circuit board. The connector includes a base body with an underside in contact with the printed circuit board. Each of the at least two insulation displacement contacts includes a clamping slot perpendicular to the underside of the base body. The clamping slots are defined by spaced legs extending from the base body, at least two of the spaced legs being resilient.

The present disclosure provides for terminal block cover assemblies for electric generators, and related methods of fabrication and use. More particularly, the present disclosure provides for terminal block cover assemblies for generators for aircraft or the like, with the terminal block cover assemblies having electrical arcing mitigation features and structures, and related methods of fabrication and use. The terminal block cover assemblies of the present disclosure can be utilized to reduce electrical arcing events in environments where de-icing fluid is used in the engine cowl.
