    Abstract: In one embodiment, a system, apparatus, and method are described for requesting access authorization from an access network access point (AP) via an access network interface, generating at a processor a public-private key pair (320) to be used to generate a cryptographicaliy generated address (320) upon receiving the access authorization, sending a secure neighbor discovery (SeND) - neighbor solicitation (NS) to the AP via the access network interface after the public-private key pair has been generated (340), receiving a signed user location information (ULI) from the AP in response to the SeND- NS (360), and sending the signed L-l-.l to one of a 3GPP mobility controller or an emergency service via a 3GPP network interface (380).     Abstract: According to one or more embodiments of the disclosure, techniques herein provide for auto discovery of network proxies. In particular, in one embodiment, a controller in a computer network receives, from both source devices and destination devices, corresponding Transmission Control Protocol / Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) information and associated transaction identifiers (IDs) for packets sent by the source devices and for packets received at the destination devices. The controller may then correlate particular source TCP/IP information to particular destination TCP/IP information based on associated transaction IDs being the same, and can compare the correlated source TCP/IP information and destination TCP/IP information in order to determine whether a proxy device exists (e.g., and which particular type of proxy device exists) between the source device and the destination device.

    Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer readable storage mediums are disclosed for scalable data collection and aggregation of statistics for logical objects of an application centric network. An analytics agent running on a logical object of an application centric network is elected as one of a Designated Stats device (DSD) or a Member Stats device (MSD). If the analytics agent is defined as a DSD, the analytics agent receives data reported from a downstream MSD communicated over the analytics plane and aggregates data from the MSD belonging to the same access control list rule. If the analytics agent is defined as an MSD, the analytics agent selects a DSD and reports the statistics to that DSD over the analytics plane.

    Abstract: In one embodiment, new Segment Routing capabilities are used in the steering of packets through Segment Routing nodes in a network. A Segment List includes a set of one or more Segment List (SL) Groups, each of which identifies one or more Segments contiguously or non-contiguously stored in the Segment List (or stored across multiple Segment Lists) of a Segment Routing packet. Each SL Group typically includes one Segment that is encoded as a Segment Identifier, and may include Segments that are Extended Values. The steering order of SL Groups is not required to be the same order as they are listed in the Segment List, as the value of Segments Left may be increased, remain the same, or decreased (possibly to skip a next SL Group) and possibly based on the result of an evaluation of a conditional expression.

    Abstract: In one embodiment, a Segment Routing gateway receives Segment Routing packets encapsulating native packets. The Segment Routing gateway stores the Segment Routing encapsulating headers. The native packets are communicated to a service function (or other device). Upon return, Segment Routing packets are generated including the returned native packets using correspondingly stored Segment Routing encapsulating headers, possibly updated with new policies. Segment Routing includes, but is not limited to, SRv6 and SR-MPLS. In one embodiment, the native packet is sent from a physical interface of the SR gateway to the service function, and returned to the SR gateway on one of its physical interface(s). In one embodiment, shared storage is accessible to both the SR gateway and the service function (or other device), so references (e.g., memory locations or pointers) are communicated between the SR gateway and the service function (or other device).

    Abstract: An apparatus, computer program product, and method relating to radio sensor coverage estimation for wireless network assurance. A network controller estimates a network sensor coverage level for candidate access points (APs), based on potential use of the candidate APs as network sensors to measure at least one key performance indicator (KPI). The controller determines a subset of the candidate APs, based on evaluating candidate APs for suitability as network sensors. The controller estimates a second network sensor coverage level for the subset of candidate APs, based on potential use of the subset of candidate APs as network sensors. The controller determines that the second network sensor coverage level is within a pre-defined threshold of the first network sensor coverage level, and provisions a radio in each AP in the subset of candidate APs as a network sensor to measure at least one KPI.

    Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for fault code aggregation across application-centric dimensions. In an example embodiment, a system obtains respective fault codes corresponding to one or more network devices in a network and maps the one or more network devices and/or the respective fault codes to respective logical policy entities defined in a logical policy model of the network, to yield fault code mappings. The system aggregates the one or more of the fault code mappings along respective logical policy dimensions in the network to yield an aggregation of fault codes across respective logical policy dimensions and, based on the aggregation, presents, for each of the respective logical policy dimensions, one or more hardware-level errors along the respective logical policy dimension.
