A synthetic jet ejector includes first and second voice coil bodies having sets of channels defined therein, electrically conductive terminals in the sets of channels, wire around said first and second voice coil bodies, such that the first coil is in electrical contact with a first set of terminals and the second coil is in electrical contact with a second set of terminals. A voice coil subassembly is formed by attaching first and second ends of a flexible, electrically conductive connector to the voice coil bodies, where the connector is attached to the sets of terminals. The voice coil subassembly is incorporated into a synthetic jet ejector having first and second voice coils such that said first coil forms a portion of said first voice coil, and such that said second coil forms a portion of said second voice coil.

The invention relates to an inductor for generating an electromagnetic alternating field, especially for heating a fireproof ceramic part of a mold. The inductor comprises windings (5) and a current-conducting connection line (10) which extends in the alternating field of the windings (5). The windings (5) and the connection line (10) are cooled. In order to improve the efficiency of the inductor (1), the connection line (10) comprises at least one longitudinal slot (13) or is constructed out of at least one strand (21) whose outer diameter is smaller than or comparable to the penetration depth of the electromagnetic alternating field.
