    Abstract: Mahlwerkzeug (1) für eine Wirbelstrommühle, die einen zwischen deren Stator und deren Rotor definierten Mahlspalt aufweist, zur Montage auf dem Rotor, der mit einem oder mehreren Mahlringen als Trägerelemente für Mahlwerkzeuge bestückt ist, wobei das Mahlwerkzeug (1) eine in die Drehrichtung (R) des Rotors weisende Brechfläche (3) aufweist, auf welche die von der anderen Seite des Mahlspaltes abprallenden Teilchen des Mahlguts auftreffen und dabei zerschlagen werden sollen, so dass Mahlgut zu Feinpulver vermahlen werden kann, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass a) das Mahlwerkzeug (1) um eine zur Drehachse des Rotors im wesentlichen parallele Schwenkachse (S) schwenkbar am Rotor befestigbar ist, b) das Mahlwerkzeug (1) einen Befestigungsabschnitt (9) zur schwenkbaren Befestigung an dem Rotor aufweist, sowie einen Brechabschnitt (10), welcher an den Befestigungsabschnitt (9) auf der zur radialen Außenseite hin gerichteten Seite anschließt, wobei der Befestigungsabschnitt (9) zwischen zwei Trägerplatten (5, 6) an dem Rotor angeordnet ist, und der Brechabschnitt (10) die Brechfläche (3) aufweist.

    Abstract: An impact mill (100) including a base portion on which is disposed a rotor (3) rotatably mounted in a bearing housing, the rotor having an upwardly aligned cylindrical surface portion coaxial with the rotational axis. The impact mill includes a mill casing within which is located a conical track assembly (5) surrounding the rotor to form a conical grinding path. The mill casing includes a downwardly aligned cylindrical collar (11) which may be axially adjusted to set a grinding gap (S) between the rotor and the mill casing. The rotor includes a plurality of impact knives complementary with a plurality of impact knives disposed on the inside top surface of the mill casing. The conical track assembly (5) can be a series of assembled conical sections or one unit with varied number of serrations in either a vertical or sloped configuration. This flexibility allows for greater compatibility with the feedstock being milled.

    Abstract: Elastomer compositions comprising uncured elastomer and reclaimed elastomer are described. In one embodiment, the compositions comprise reclaimed elastomer material (micronized rubber powder) of broad particle size distribution, which is less expensive than traditional reclaimed elastomer material with narrow particle size distribution. Further, compositions comprising reclaimed elastomer materials with broad particle size distribution perform comparably to those comprising reclaimed elastomer materials with narrow particle size distribution. In other embodiments, the compositions comprise both vulcanized and devulcanized elastomer materials. Advantageously, by using a combination of vulcanized and devulcanized material, it is possible to incorporate a greater percentage by weight of reclaimed material in to an elastomer composition, thus providing additional cost savings while maintaining high levels of mechanical properties. Further, the use of the reclaimed material reduces landfill waste resulting in a more environmentally friendly product.
