A method of reducing vibration in a rotary system (120, 130, 140) of a watercraft, for example a cargo ship (100), comprising balancing said rotary system (120, 30, 140), characterized by providing a rotational element (300, 302-306) comprising a chamber (310-312) having a fulcrum on a rotational axis (340) of said rotational element (300, 302-306), comprising a circumferential balancing area (320) and being partially filled with an amount of a thixotropic balancing substance (330). A method of analysing a vehicle wheel with a tyre, comprising rotating the vehicle wheel with a first number of revolutions for a first period of time, wherein a tread surface of the tyre is pressed with a first force against a first rotatable drum, the first force is measured with a first measuring device, and the first force is kept substantially constant; and rotating the vehicle wheel with a second number of revolutions for a second period of time, wherein the tread surface is pressed with a second force against the first drum or a second rotatable drum, and the second force is measured. A method of analyzing a vehicle wheel comprising a tire of a predetermined configuration and a thixotropic balancing substance, comprising rotating the vehicle wheel with a predetermined number of revolutions for a period of time, wherein a tread surface of the tire is pressed in a first contact area against a rotatable drum with a predetermined force, and a first acceleration in the first contact area is measured with a measuring device; rotating another vehicle wheel comprising another tire of the predetermined configuration with the predetermined number of revolutions for another period of time, the other vehicle wheel being conventionally balanced and having another residual unbalance, wherein another tread surface of the other tire is pressed in a second contact area against the rotatable drum with the predetermined force, and a second acceleration in the second contact area is measured with the measuring device and if the first acceleration is less than or equal to the second acceleration, determining that the vehicle wheel is balanced.
