Abstract: The present invention relates to the field of methods for associating a device for digitizing documents with a user account within an on-line service. The invention describes a method of pairing where the on-line service generates a digital document containing the identifier of the user account in the form of a printable code. This document is then read by the device and dispatched by the device to the management service. The management service receiving a message which contains an identifier of the digitizing device and the document containing a printable code of the identifier of the user account can decode this identifier and store the association between the two identifiers.
