Abstract: La présente invention concerne le domaine des procédés appairage d'un appareil électronique et d'un compte utilisateur au sein d'un service en ligne. L'invention décrit un procédé d'appairage où le service de gestion de flotte génère un identifiant court qu'il fournit à l'appareil électronique lors de la phase d'initialisation. Ce dernier affiche ledit identifiant. L'utilisateur recopie cet identifiant dans l'interface d'accès au portail du service en ligne. Le service en ligne peut alors fournir une association entre cet identifiant et un compte utilisateur au service de gestion de flotte. Le code généré étant affiché de manière lisible et étant bien plus court qu'un numéro de série, sa recopie par l'utilisateur est facilitée et le risque d'erreur de transcription est minimisé.

Abstract: The present invention relates to the field of methods for pairing an electronic apparatus and a user account within an on-line service. The invention describes a method of pairing in which the fleet management service generates a short identifier which it provides to the electronic apparatus during the initialisation phase. The apparatus displays said identifier. The user copies this identifier into the interface for access to the portal of the on-line service. The on-line service can then provide an association between this identifier and a user account to the fleet management service. The code generated being displayed in a readable manner and being shorter than a serial number, its copying by the user is facilitated and the risk of transcription error is minimized.
