Die Offenbarung betrifft eine Aktuatoreinrichtung, umfassend mindestens ein Haltemittel, an dem ein Rückblickmittel festlegbar oder festgelegt ist und das relativ zu einer Gehäusekomponente einer Rückblickvorrichtung bewegbar gelagert ist, mindestens eine Stellvorrichtung umfassend zumindest eine erste Stelleinheit mit mindestens einem ersten Stellmittel und zumindest eine zweite Stelleinheit mit mindestens einem zweiten Stellmittel zur Bewegung des Haltemittels relativ zu der Gehäusekomponente, wobei das erste Stellmittel und das zweite Stellmittel jeweils zumindest ein Formgedächtniselement umfassen und die erste Stelleinheit und die zweite Stelleinheit mechanisch in Reihe geschaltet zwischen der Gehäusekomponente und dem Haltemittel angeordnet sind, wobei die erste Stelleinheit einen ersten maximalen Stellweg aufweist und die zweite Stelleinheit einen von dem ersten maximalen Stellweg unterschiedlichen zweiten maximalen Stellweg aufweist sowie eine Rückblickvorrichtung mit einer erfindungsgemäßen Aktuatoreinrichtung.

The invention refers to a pivot detent system that acts between two components that rotate with respect to one another around an axis (15) to control rotation from a first set position to at least a second set position, with each of said two components comprising a cylindrical section (10, 11) and a resilient means being arranged within a cylindrical space between said cylindrical sections (10, 11) to act between said two components, characterized by at least one detent ring (12) being arranged within said cylindrical space between said cylindrical sections (10, 11), with the detent ring (12) being moveable together with a first component relative to the second component when overcoming a predetermined torque to break a detent engagement between the detent ring (12) and the second component by deflecting the resilient means. It also refers to a rear view device with a base to be fixed to a vehicle, a head rotatable relative to the base and a detent system of the invention, wherein the first component is part of or fixedly connected to the head and the second component is part of or fixedly connected to base.

The present invention relates to a positioning system (10, 10') for a rear view display device comprising at least a first gear rod (20, 20') for positioning a cover plate (50, 50'), wherein the first gear rod (20, 20') comprises conductive material, and second gear rod (30, 30') for positioning the cover plate (50, 50'), wherein the second gear rod (30, 30') comprises conductive material; a spring jack (40, 40') comprising conductive material, wherein the spring jack (40, 40') is adapted to contact the first gear rod (20, 20') and the second gear rod (30, 30'); and position sensing means adapted to sense the position of the first gear rod (20, 20') relative to the spring jack (40, 40') with at least a first resistance value of a first conductive path between at least a first point on the first gear rod (20, 20') and the spring jack (40, 40') varying with the position of the first gear rod (20, 20') relative to the spring jack (40, 40'). The invention also relates to a rear view display for a vehicle comprising such a positioning system (10, 10'), and to a vehicle comprising such a rear view display.

Es wird ein Außenrückblickspiegel mit einem Spiegelglas vorgeschlagen, das in einem Spiegelkopf eingebaut ist, wobei der Spiegelkopf gegen einen Spiegelfuß, mit dem der Spiegel am Fahrzeug befestigt ist, schwenkbar gelagert ist. Das Spiegelglas weist mindestens zwei Spiegelteile (8, 9) mit unterschiedlichem Krümmungsradius auf, wobei eine Trennlinie (10) zwischen den Spiegelteilen (8, 9) durch den Bereich (6, 7) gezogen ist, der die Erfüllung der Abbildungsvorschriften umfasst.

A rearview device for a motor vehicle includes: a moveable mirror head assembly that includes an upper casing element, a lower casing element, and a bezel that carries a mirror glass; a base frame; a camera secured within a camera cradle that is mounted to the base frame; a motor cradle connected to the upper and lower casing elements; and an articulation assembly attached to the base frame and configured to move the moveable mirror head assembly connected to the articulation assembly via the motor cradle; wherein the camera is positioned to view through at least one of (i) an opening in the bezel through the mirror glass, or (ii) an opening in the lower casing element behind the mirror glass.

A single arm telescoping mirror apparatus comprising a mirror base and mirror head. In one embodiment, a mirror base having a wear plate secured to a single support arm which frictionally engages a single telescoping tube of the mirror head. Furthermore, a mirror base having a roller assembly which frictionally engage the inner wall of a single telescoping tube of the mirror head. Frictional forces created minimize the telescopic or vibrational movement of the mirror head during use of a vehicle. In another aspect, a wear plate is secured to a single telescoping tube while, roller assemblies are attached to a support arm which frictionally engage ridges of the telescoping tube.

A modulation control method for a filter device for avoiding flicker appearing in streamed video images before acquiring images, includes setting the exposure time to be equal or longer than an oscillating light source's period duration or to be as long as possible between two frames in the image acquisition of streamed video images, polarizing of incoming light in a first polarizer to turn into polarized light with a first polarization, altering the polarization of the light with the first polarization in an electro- or magneto-optic modulator by an angle α to turn into light with a second polarization, and reducing an amount of light with the second polarization in a second polarizer.
