    Abstract: Cyclopropane derivs.(I, R = alkyl; R1 and R2 are alkyl, halogen; R1 = H; R2 - alkenyl; R3 = substituted alkyl, aryl, cycloalkyl, alkenyl, alkinyl; Z - substituted phenyl), useful as insecticides and acaricides, were prepd. by reaction of II (X ≠ Y = halogen, hyydroxy) and III. Thus, 2.7 g 2,2-dichloro-3,3-dimethylcyclopropanoyl chloride, 33.0 gα- ethinyl-3-phenoxybenzylacohol and 3.0 g triethylamine were reacted at room temp. for 16 hr in 65 ml toluene to give α-ethinyl-3-phenoxy-benzyl-2,2 = dichloro -3,3-dimethylcyclopropanecarboxylate.

    Abstract: Title compds.(I, R1 = H, alkyl, alkenyl, alkoxy; R2 = H, cyano, alkoxy, alkoxycarbonyl, acyloxy, amido, phenylsulfonyl, arythio; R3 = H, alkyl; R4 = H, alkyl, alkoxycarbonyl, cyano, nitro, acyl, phenylsulfonyl; R1 and R3 formed together a carbon ring or heterocyclic ring; X = halogen, nitro, cyano, alkyl, alkoxy, aryl; n = 0-3), useful as fungicide, were prepd. by reaction of nitrone(II) and olefins(III). Thus, a mixt. of 59.4 g 3-pyridyl-N-phenylnitrone and 500ml vinylethlether was refluxed for 3 hr to give 2-phenyl-3-(3'-pyridyl)-5-ethoxyisox azolidine.
