Abstract: Cyclopropane derivs.(I, R = alkyl; R1 and R2 are alkyl, halogen; R1 = H; R2 - alkenyl; R3 = substituted alkyl, aryl, cycloalkyl, alkenyl, alkinyl; Z - substituted phenyl), useful as insecticides and acaricides, were prepd. by reaction of II (X ≠ Y = halogen, hyydroxy) and III. Thus, 2.7 g 2,2-dichloro-3,3-dimethylcyclopropanoyl chloride, 33.0 gα- ethinyl-3-phenoxybenzylacohol and 3.0 g triethylamine were reacted at room temp. for 16 hr in 65 ml toluene to give α-ethinyl-3-phenoxy-benzyl-2,2 = dichloro -3,3-dimethylcyclopropanecarboxylate.
