    Abstract: PURPOSE: An evaluation method is provided to objectively measure the relief effect of sensory skin irritation by quantifying the relief effect of sensory skin irritation about various anti-irritants through the change of concrete threshold. CONSTITUTION: A sensory skin irritation relief effect evaluation method comprises a step of measuring the change of a threshold before and after spreading an anti-irritant to a stimulus applied to the skin sensory nerve. The evaluation method quantitatively measures the change of the threshold by using a device. The evaluation method measures the change of the threshold value about a stimulus applied to at least one skin sensory nerve which is selected in a group which includes Aα, Aβ, Aδ, and C-fiber type. The evaluation method measures the change of the threshold value about a stimulus which is applied to the skin sensory nerve of Aδ or C-fiber type.

    Abstract: An in vitro skin sensitization test method is provided to rapidly analyze the skin sensitization-inducing possibility of material through the cell derived from the human body without use of animal, and classify and grade the skin sensitization-inducing possibility, thereby easily finding out the procedure required for the following process. The in vitro skin sensitization test method comprises the steps of: determining the treatment concentration of the estimation target material for the skin sensitization-inducing test; contacting the determined concentration of the estimation target material with the human origin cell, and culturing the cell; detecting CD86, CD54 and CD83 as costimulatory molecule, expressed from the cultured human origin cell; indexing the detected costimulatory molecules; grading and classifying the indexed detection amount; and determining the estimation target material as the skin sensitization-inducing material when the classified detection amount is the risk grade.
