Abstract:
A water-in-oil type eye make-up composition is provided to show excellent water-resistance and oil-resistance, thereby minimizing spreading of the eye make-up composition by tear or sebum. A water-in-oil type eye make-up composition comprises 0.5-25.0 wt.% of silicone-containing wax which is at least one selected from the group consisting of bis PEG-12 dimethicone bees wax, bis PEG-12 dimethicone candelillate, bis PEG-18 dimethicone methyl ether dimethyl silane, stearyl dimethicone, C30-45 alkyl dimethicone and C30-45 olefin, behenoxy dimethicone, stearoxy dimethicone and cetyl dimethicone and 5.0-50.0 wt.% of acrylate/silicone copolymer as a film forming agent. The composition further comprises 0.1-10.0 wt.% of powder or silicone-resin coated powder as a filler. Further, the silicone-containing wax is thickener.
Abstract:
A mascara composition is provided to have excellent volume and adhesion lasting capacity by using barium sulfate as a platy powder and show improved spreadability and falling-out of powder by containing an aqueous thickener derived from a natural material. The mascara composition comprises 0.5-10.0 wt.% of barium sulfate powder and 0.1-5.0 wt.% of a thickener derived from natural materials which is at least one vegetable thickener selected from the group comprising alginic acid, carrageenan, locust bean gum, guar gum, tara gum, tamarind gum, arabic gum, tragacanth gum, karaya gum, pectin and agar.
Abstract:
A method for evaluating the efficacy of a cosmetic material by using the keratin in skin cells comprises the steps of: collecting keratin parts from skin (S1); applying a cosmetic material to at least one part of the collected keratin parts (S2); obtaining a first image which represents the state of a first group coated with the cosmetic material among the collected keratin parts (S3); obtaining a second image which represents the state of a second group corresponding to a control group among the collected keratin parts (S4); and comparing the first image and the second image to measure the efficacy of the cosmetic material (S6). In the evaluation for the efficacy of a cosmetic material such as a makeup product, etc., the efficacy of the cosmetic material can be objectively and accurately measured by using the keratin in skin tissue to which a cosmetic product is actually applied, instead of artificial leather, an object having an uneven surface, etc. used previously. [Reference numerals] (AA) Start; (BB) End; (S1) Collect keratin parts from skin; (S2) Apply a cosmetic material to at least one part of the collected keratin parts by using a vibrator or a powder puff; (S3) Obtain a first image which represents the state of a keratin part corresponding to an experimental group; (S4) Obtain a second image which represents the state of a keratin part corresponding to a control group; (S5) Perform image processing about the first and second images; (S6) Compare the first and second images to measure coating uniformity, long-lasting performance, adhesion property, etc.
