Abstract: A water-in-oil type eye make-up composition is provided to show excellent water-resistance and oil-resistance, thereby minimizing spreading of the eye make-up composition by tear or sebum. A water-in-oil type eye make-up composition comprises 0.5-25.0 wt.% of silicone-containing wax which is at least one selected from the group consisting of bis PEG-12 dimethicone bees wax, bis PEG-12 dimethicone candelillate, bis PEG-18 dimethicone methyl ether dimethyl silane, stearyl dimethicone, C30-45 alkyl dimethicone and C30-45 olefin, behenoxy dimethicone, stearoxy dimethicone and cetyl dimethicone and 5.0-50.0 wt.% of acrylate/silicone copolymer as a film forming agent. The composition further comprises 0.1-10.0 wt.% of powder or silicone-resin coated powder as a filler. Further, the silicone-containing wax is thickener.
