Abstract: PURPOSE: A curb using a solar battery and an LED is provided to more effectively indicate the boundary of a road by activating the LED with electricity accumulated through the solar battery. CONSTITUTION: A curb comprises a rectangular curb cover(113), a solar battery, an indicator LED, a rechargeable battery, a curb main body, a curb stator, a curb cover O-ring, and a control module. The solar battery is installed in an upper transparent part of the curb cover and supplies electricity by converting solar energy into electric energy. The indicator LED is installed to be projected on the top of the curb cover and periodically generates light. The rechargeable battery is provided the electricity from the solar battery and stores the electrical energy. The curb main body is enclosed with the curb cover and embedded with the rechargeable battery. The curb stator is projected downward on the left and right corners of the curb main body in order to fix the curb main body on the surface. The curb cover O-ring is installed in the joint of the curb cover and the curb main body in order to prevent the penetration of moisture. The control module makes the indicator LED blink periodically.
