PURPOSE: A collagen base matrix as a texture restoration material and a method for manufacturing the same are provided, which can enhance the mechanical strength and prevent the porous film from being partly destroyed in the manufacturing process. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a collagen base matrix as a texture restoration material comprises: a step of forming a collagen porous layer by freeze-drying after forming the uniform film of the constant thickness by dispersing the collagen in the fixed thickness; and a step of forming a collagen hard layer with a dense tissue by compacting collagen particles and discharging water.

PURPOSE: A method for culturing islet cells using atelocollagen is provided to effectively culture islet cells using a cationized atelocollagen or crosslinked atelocollagen support which is acquired by ionizing high purity atelocollagen. CONSTITUTION: A method for culturing islet cells using atelocollagen comprises the steps of preparing a cationized atelocollagen solution; applying the cationized atelocollagen solution on a culture container and drying to form a cationized atelocollagen support; inoculating islet cells to the cationized atelocollagen solution; and culturing the inoculated islet cells in the cationized atelocollagen solution or on the cationized atelocollagen support. CONSTITUTION: A method for isolating atelocollagen comprises: a step of preparing a sample containing telopeptide-removed atelocollagen in a container; a step of passing the sample containing atelocollagen through a filter; a step of collecting atelocollagen solution and measuring flow of the atelocollagen solution to determine ultrafiltration speed; a step of stopping ultrafiltration; a step of adding water to unfiltered materials and performing diafiltration process; and a step of collecting filtered atelocollagen solution.

PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a carrier for the islet cell transplantation using atelocollagen, and an artificial pancreas manufactured using the same are provided to be able to efficiently incubate islet cells and provide a carrier for the islet cell transplantation with an excellent stability and an artificial pancreas by using cationized atelocollagen.
