Abstract: A primer for testing flesh of pig and a method of testing the flesh of the pig using the same are provided to examin conveniently and exactly the flesh of the pig. A primer for testing flesh of pig comprises a sequence number 1 and a sequence number 2. A method of testing the flesh of the pig comprises measuring an expression amount of the gallectin-1 gene of the pig. An RT-PCR is used by a measurement of the expression amount. The primer consisting of the sequence number 1 and the sequence number 2 is used by the measurement of the expression amount.
