Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for managing a computing device using a camera is provided to reduce total power consumption amount. CONSTITUTION: Inputting next input data during predetermined time after checking input data is checked(S20). If a next input data is not inputted during the predetermined time, an existence of a user in a predetermined range is determined by driving a sensor module(S30). If the user does not exists in the predetermined range, it is converted into low power or power off modes(S35). If the user does exists in the predetermined range, an image analysis is performed(S40). A power mode is changed according to the image analysis result(S50).

Abstract translation: 目的：提供一种使用相机管理计算设备的方法，以减少总功耗量。 规定：检查输入数据后的预定时间内输入下一个输入数据（S20）。 如果在预定时间内未输入下一个输入数据，则通过驱动传感器模块来确定用户在预定范围内的存在（S30）。 如果用户不在预定范围内，则将其转换为低功率或断电模式（S35）。 如果用户确实存在于预定范围内，则执行图像分析（S40）。 根据图像分析结果改变功率模式（S50）。

A power mode is changed according to an analysis result(S40). Input data is identified after changing the power mode. The mode is converted to a normal power mode.
