Abstract: PURPOSE: A biosensor is provided to enable simple preparation without a separate driving force for transferring a sample, for example a pump. CONSTITUTION: A biosensor (100) comprises: a body part (110) which has a first channel in which a sample flows and a sample injection hole (121) for injecting the sample to the first channel; a bent hole part which is formed at the body part and discharges air in the first channel to the outside by being connected to the outside; and a valve (170) which is connected to the sample injection hole and/or the inlet of the bent hole part and opens and closes the sample injection hole and/or the inlet according to a predetermined time. A method for operating the biosensor comprises the steps of: placing the sample at the inlet of the first channel and moving the sample along the first channel; measuring the flow rate of the sample; and controlling the sample injection hole and/or the bent hole part based on the measured flow rate of the sample.
