Abstract: PURPOSE: A prefabricated internally confined hollow CFT pier using a corrugated pipe and a construction method thereof are provided to reduce construction costs and time, and to improve buckling strength and shearing strength. CONSTITUTION: A prefabricated internally confined hollow CFT pier using a corrugated pipe comprises column segments(10), a coping part(20), and a foundation part. The column segments are composed of a corrugated pipe, and have hollows and a connecting members(100). A plate with multiple coupling holes is fixed to the corrugated pipe. The coping part comprises a coupling groove(220), a stepped surface(230), and through holes(240). The foundation part comprises a connecting member(300).

Abstract: PURPOSE: A prefabricated hollow-segment type bridge post is provided to reduce the construction period thereof by employing a connection unit base and a segment connection unit for simple connection between adjacent hollow segments. CONSTITUTION: A prefabricated hollow-segment type bridge post comprises a coping part(20), a base part(30), a plurality of hollow segments(10), and segment connection units. The base part is arranged opposite to the coping part. The hollow segments, comprising a hollow segment inner pipe, segment concrete arranged on the outer surface of the segment inner pipe, and a segment reinforcing bar arranged inside the segment concrete, are arranged between the coping part and the base part. The segment connection units are arranged between the hollow segments to joint the hollow segments. The segment connection unit comprises a connection unit base arranged in one of the hollow segments and a connection unit base counterpart arranged opposite to the connection unit base in another hollow segment arranged facing the one hollow segment.
