Abstract: PURPOSE: A color correction apparatus and method of video data in a stereoscopic image system are provided to correct the color of the video data with the color correction of correspondent points between the reference video data and target video data of the video data. CONSTITUTION: A decision unit(120) decides reference video data and target video data in video data. An extraction unit(130) extracts sample correspondence points with the feature point of the reference video data and the target video data. The extraction unit extracts sample color information. A calculation unit(140) produces the characteristic information of a plurality of image pickup devices with the sample color information. A generation unit(150) creates a color reference table. A correction unit(160) revises the color of the target video data.
