    Abstract: The present specification relates to a phase changeover method of an independent multi-phase BLDC motor and a device thereof which prevent a momentary torque reduction phenomenon of a BLDC motor and a torque pulsating motion due to the same and minimize the stress and loss due to sparks of a phase changeover switch. The phase changeover device of the independent multi-phase BLDC motor according to an embodiment which is disclosed in the present specification comprises: a phase changeover switch which is connected between two among multiple H-bridge inverters and changes over the phase which is applied to the independent multi-phase BLDC motor; and a controller which determines On/Off state of the multiple H-bridge inverters by applying a pulse width modulation signal to the multiple H-bridge inverters and controls a phase current which is applied to the independent multi-phase BLDC motor and a speed of the independent multi-phase BLDC motor.
