Abstract: A structure for reinforcing a vehicle body in a tail gate opening is provided to effectively enhance the strength of a mounting part of a rear combi-lamp and a hinge mounting part of a tail gate. In a structure for reinforcing a vehicle body in a tail gate opening, a quarter inner upper reinforcing member(14) reinforcing a quarter inner upper panel(11) extends to a tail gate hinge mounting and integrally attached to a roof rear upper rail(12). The quarter upper panel extends from a lower portion of the hinge mounting part to form a box-shaped cross-part together with the quarter inner upper reinforcing member and the roof rear upper ail. The quarter inner upper reinforcing member extends to enhance the strength of a rear combi-lamp mounting part.
